I admire how Jerrod works through the issues with his parents. I also REALLY appreciate him saying that forgiveness is not devoid of thought and logic, even in Christianity. I also believe that.
Thought and logic only make forgiveness more difficult and in many cases impossible. Forgiveness is an act of faith. The only logic necessary is knowing that you too are guilty of wrong doing towards another. But certainly not spending mental energy on whether or not to forgive someone else. We all are guilty.

No cap I hope Charlamagne has way more one-on-one interviews I think he asks great questions and he makes people feel comfortable
Donald McPherson that’s funny because about 5-6 years ago people dreaded having to talk to Charlamagne in the interviews. Wow ! Growth 🙌🏾
I loved this interview!!!! They interviewed each other! The interaction was amazing . As a woman I respect their transparency. Oh and bring back the Carmichael Show 😊
Klassy018 I agree
His show was hilarious
CTG was made for this. He can handle his own on any level.
KING M YOU ARE SO RIGHT!! I agree
Did you see him on CNN speaking on Elizabeth Warren? Me: Charlemagne made it to CNN? He doesn't even seem nervous. Go Charla!!!
This was one of the best interviews I've seen Charla conduct. Jerrod is a genius and I appreciated his vulnerability in this interview. Great job Unk.
"The only way to learn is by questioning everything ".... that's deep! By far one of my favorite interviews!
It’s not that deep sis.
Sis that is deep! Too many question nothing...
Yall think everything deep now a days😆😆
In my opinion it is... thanks though.
Hey Day Hart what's up hun

I love this interview! Jerrod and CTG's chemistry is so natural. Jerrod's so down to earth and open... I'm a fan of both men. Great interview CTG!!!
That's cos they're both cancers..They can both empathize very well.

I absolutely love Jarrod c. It's like he's funny, very dry humor. I would love to work with him. Black men who are funny... Keeps the world smiling!!!
Y’all just realizing Charlemagne carries the show? Maybe now you’ll understand why we leave if he’s not there
Right. I never watch when he's gone.
PREACH
Right! Be dry af when he’s gone
Amoizing tbh that’s because he’s hilarious
If it was just Yee and Envy the questions would have been
Yee:: who are you sleeping with.
Envy:: explain what a comedy is.
Ayomikun F 😂😂
Lmfaooo 😂😂
Seriously someone can say something profound or life changing and Yee will say “The Shaderoom posted you were dating ... last month”
🤣🤣 so true
Funniest shit I’ve read all day 😂😭
So no one gonna talk about how Jarrod came out in this interview? Actually, that's good. We should applaud ctg for holding it down solo. Also I love that in 2019 a black man can come out to another black man and hug it out at the end. And being able to tell your good friend I love you. We moving forward ppl!!!
Rofee305 omg I am almost finished with the video and haven’t even caught on yet. When did he do it? If he does it at the end then I’ll run into it but I’ve got 4 minutes left in the video and it flew over my head 😂
Damn, it even went over Charlemagne’s head when the title came out. I just saw it and tbh it makes me feel comfortable being lgbt

im curious if he's actually came out as gay or as bi. bc saying "I've Hooked up with dudes before" doesn't make you inherently gay (meaning not into women). bc it seems everyones assuming he's gay because of that statement
These conversations between Black Fathers and their sons needs to happen in order for there to be healthy Black men in our society the topics of pain, disappointment, expectations, crying ect. should be key conversations Black Fathers share with their Sons so they will be good Father's when their time comes.
This convo hit so close to home, i thought they were talking directly at me lol. I'm 42 and still salty over my pops infidelities on my mother. Good father, but poor husband.
If you support both, you know this is gonna be a good interview before u even press play
Wooow!! This was a really insightful, honest and dope interview, well done Charlemagne and Jerrod, keep SHININ', Word!!
Yee and Envy... both college grads, got a whole degree in journalism and communications. Charla never been to college, a simple hs grad, yet more skilled and valuable than his co host.
he’s genuine
Yee has great experience and presence as well..she’s been in the game for a very long time and has more influence.
And a felon. Lol

Louis Vuitton what? Shut yo young dumb ass up
Reading these comments tells me Charlemagne will have his own radio show soon
Saint Diko TV
I hope so! He's built for it! He's the truth, cut and dry, transparent and honest..whether it fickles your emotions or not! #greatjobunccharla
What happened to uncommon sense?
Saint Diko exactly !!!
He could've been had one if he wanted it ....i don't think he does.
this was ... idk ... beautiful? beautiful is the right word. organic. i love when jerrod actually does press. and its better w just one person and a knowledgeable interviewer. ctg did great ... bt he is really good at this when its someone he actually respects and likes. ctg is also great at sharing his personal experiences in a non-explotive way ... i almost felt like i was peeping in on a personal convo. thanks for sharing u too! two brown skin men frkm the south who are growing n evolving ... truly beautiful! xo
This is by far THE BEST interview ever Jerrod is such a open and reflective person
Jerrod is sooooooo under rated, he is ultra talented, smart, funny... miss his show, we need more content like this on TV! Dope interview
He seems like such a beautiful spirit to be around
I once Postmated (?) Jerrod chic-fil-a and he gave me a fat tip. Thanks, Jerrod

A fat tip?? Lol
Hahaha ok poor choice of wording

Low key this is a pilot for his talk show on STARZ (speaking it to existence)
This has got to be one of the best interviews this year. They touched on it's ok to question religion, mental health, sexuality, emotional growth and other topics taboo in the black community.
Only charlamagne can do a whole interview by himself and make it a great one . Take notes Envy and YEE
I like Yee she is the Robin to Charlamagne & Envy is useless
@UCgnFq6pcF_t4wcAund6ktBg no he not he light skinned

Very deep and dope interview Really like how comfortable guest are with charlamagne also because he isn’t afraid to show he can relate
I feel like Jerrod should be on the new season of the show Atlanta
johnathan leonard He and Childish Gambino definitely have similar vibes that would work well with each other.
johnathan leonard OMG Yesss that would be so dope !
I’m thinking if he ever is shopping around for work yet retain control over his projects like he did on the Carmichael show, he would def vibe with Issa Rae (who’s movie trailer with Lakeith Stanfield has been revealed recently)
facts
CTG you killed this interview! You need your own TV show! Keep TBC but do a TV show as well!
No envy and Angela and interview still flowing. They don't contribute shit in my opinion, no charlamagne, no show !!!!
true
I think it’s preference because everything sounds complete to me when they’re there. I couldn’t listen to CTG alone everyday on the BC. You can check out his podcast for that though.
Yee actually has some good questions and is very smart when she doesn’t get interrupted before 85% of her questions get asked.
LMAO!!!!!!!!! SO TRUE!!!!
FACTS!
Jerrod uses comedy to bring light to cultural✊️🏽 plights and👨🏽🎓educate socially 👏🏽✨
WE need more black men conversations like this. Kudos cthagod on an excellent interview.
Durant!!!!!! when u making some more tshirts?! ❤❤❤❤❤
50 min interview with CthaGod alone. Ye and Envy struggle with a 25min interview 🤦🏾♂️
That is so true. It was a good interview
He gain much more respect from me...he makes it look easy
Yes when he said it's just me I immediately continued!! Charla is a great interviewer!
Clownish-Gambino it’s a talent cuz he can make it look effortless with anyone.....btw I luv the username. U have any more lol I need me a good username

Jerrod: I don't hate anyone. Cthagod: journalist says "Jerrod doesn't know what to do with black women"

Pure Gold. Two men of color going deep and being vulnerable. Amazing
"try some color...purple exist! know ya undertones!"😂😅🤣🤣🤣🤣
Danni Dell Glad I wasn’t the only one that cracked up at that 😂
Thai entire interview shows absolute grandeur and honesty. Like, this shit was therapeutic as hell and I honestly needed this conversation. Y’all really gotta put some respect of Charlamagne’s name for his solo work. Dude is a beast.
Envy, yee and Charlemagne all bring something to the show. Appreciate them now because one day they’ll all move on from this platform.
Stephen Chuk-d Best comment on here bro. Folks so busy big uppin Charlemagne, which is deserving, but they’re not understanding the dynamic that all three bring to the table as a whole. I love the back and forth between the three of them as well as the woman’s perspective that Yee brings to the table. It will all end one day. Its inevitable.
@@Boogiesince people understand what they bring but you have to admit the interview would not have flowed like this with them there. Its apparent a lot of people want more of this type of adult conversation.
Mrs Rogers just appreciate them all, that’s it.
Boogiesince1978 I can just imagine how sad people will be the day they announce that they are moving on
Why would you say "they'll all be moving on from this platform one day?" Do you mean UA-cam or the Breakfast Club show? People have been saying they won't last since their first year together. It's almost been 10 years.
The maturity from Charlemagne at 48.20 was incredible . Great interview
I rarely watch this when Uncle Charlemagne isn't involved. This is a nice interview, Jerrod! Wish the Carmichael show was still on too.
To find out about the Carmichael show after it was cancelled was such a cruel fate.
@@theorderofthebees7308 thank goodness hulu has all the episodes
I know that was a good show.
This guy is so wise. I’m so glad I have been a fan of Charla since before this version of him, and tolerated the things he said that made me uncomfortable then, recognizing and focusing on his core strengths of honesty and not being afraid to be vulnerable. I have prayed/sent great vibes to him all along, and I t’s so beautiful and inspiring watching him transform and elevate to the best version of himself.
This was a GREAT interview. I did not know the guest before this interview but he just got a new fan!
