I have a 2023 SXT Plus AWD, Sinamin Stick color, black leather seats, with the Blackout and Carbon Fiber package. It has every option Dodge offered and is one Fantastic car to own and drive!
This car surprised me! The black out package in this color looks so good. Super comfortable. I was surprised how powerful it was too. Great video guys!
I think this settled my decision on getting the SXT Plus! I was debating on getting the RT V8 but SXT Plus is definitely the route to go especially how these gas prices are. Subscribed!
Refreshing to hear men that are using actual discriminating objectivity based on a driving experience rather than just immediately dismissing the SXT for having the V6. I've completely lost track of all things "fast" in regard to cars after being a Jeep guy for so long that when I got one of these as a rental in a Midwest business trip, I was blown away how nice this car performed let alone having the control, safety and peace of mind of the AWD when the Midwestern February reared it's icy head. Great all around car...thanks for your honest review and portrayal without the negative, it's not a V8 rhetoric.
Should have brought the Scat and done some canyon driving the other side of the mountains! We have some amazing driving roads here. Interesting to hear how good the V6 is. Great content as always.
No problem with the V6 Challenger I have the SXT plus has super track pack with paddle shifters also has drag mode with launch control It actually holds the front brakes to do a burn out.. Full leather. heated steering wheel ac and heated seats all this under $38k
i've noticed too in sport mode not only are the brakes grabby but the transmission shifts are much more abrupt also even on the downshifts too as you're slowing down that combination of brakes and trans kinda make for a herky jerky drive definitely takes a little getting used to in order to smooth your drive out when in sport mode
Agreed! It changes the driving dynamics quite a bit. Hard to explain unless you’re behind the wheel and feel it. I may try and dive into that a bit to understand why.
I test drove a silver SXT GT last week that had 25k miles on it. Cloth seats though with bolstering...it had great giddy-up but they wanted almost 36k for it. Too much for a used car with the options it had....cannot find a SXT or GT PLUS around here....
A lot of the 5.7l v8s will run on 4 cylinders at times to save on gas so if your on the highway a lot the fuel economy doesn't really hurt and maybe in the right circumstances it might even be better than the v6. The roar of the stock v8 exhaust especially in sports mode is better than any aftermarket v6 exhaust ever could be (you can make a v6 sound good and mean but its just not a v8). I had a v6 Avenger with the same motor and it was fun and I loved the car but I wouldn't say it was better than my v8 Challenger... Enjoy the car if you still have it, I love my v8 and have nothing to really hate on for either version of the car.
Love my 2019, but I gotta say there’s not one aftermarket exhaust that can make this exhaust sound good imo. Love my car but I prefer to leave it stock.

@@Gonin60 thank you! Yeah that exhaust adds some fun factor for sure

Thank you 🙏🏻!! Really appreciate that! I think you’ll love the car and - like you say - at these gas prices it makes a lot of sense!

Well said! I did sell it and got an RT - like you say, can’t replicate that v8 sound

I've listened to just about all the cat-back systems, and decided my stock system on my SXT Plus AWD is just fine, thank you.
Subscribed bro! Love that car!
