As a civil engineer and Projects Planning Consultant, this is one of the most magnificent and impressive marvels of modern engineering achieved. It was no easy feat to achieve, and all who participated must be congratulated from concept, planning to implementation, and commissioning. The people who operate the port daily must be proud to be part of this projects new facilities.
As an Ulster Scot I have an interest in both Home Countries. It looks like the team has achieved maximum effect for minimum impact. A success for everyone to be very, very proud of.
I remember when the Noble Innovator first docked, walking over the Bridge of and just seeing these massive legs as tall as any tower block in the city creeping along the seafront just peaking above the sand dunes and being absolutely perplexed as to what it was until I passed the new harbour on the train a few days later. It absolutely towered over the city for weeks!
Best of luck! My hope is you all get the people of Aberdeen a path towards good long term employ fer Scots. I do not subscribe to net zero and hope that commerce and JOBS fer you all. Looks terribly expensive. As a Californian that lives by the sea so any town connected to the water is awesome! Stay right sized
