Yeah, Natasha wasn't too happy about it, and started a blood feud. One of the last missions in BT Heavy Metal, you get the joy of facing both the Black Widow and Bounty Hunters lances. If you can pull it off, just hide out and wait for the two of them to just blow each other away, and then just mop up the survivors.
That game makes it to hard to play. The Argo is cool. Pass on the sjw writing. It was nice to get the black widow is in the game. One of my favorite characters kills her.
Hello Grim. Ah, the Bounty Hunter. Man, myth, legend. Back in the day, when I was being the 'Battle-Master' for my playing group, I fielded the Bounty Hunter on a mission. The player's mission was either to protect what the Bounty Hunter was after, or destroy enough of the Bounty Hunter's Mechs to force him to break off and retreat. Most did not like this scenario. Especially since I made sure to limit what and how much they could field against the Bounty Hunter's forces. This ensured that the Bounty Hunter had a bit more force at his disposal to use to force the issue against the players, and optimized the chances for the Bounty Hunter to be successful in his operation. I also made sure that the Bounty Hunter and his pilots were all superior or outstanding Mechwarriors by giving them better Piloting and Gunnery skills in comparison to the Players. A few additional rules helped the above stipulations, like tilting the balance of such lucky rolls as cockpit hits with large weapons. The Bounty Hunter and his 'Crew' all enjoyed an immunity from cockpit kills. Any shot that would hit the cockpit underwent a second roll of the dice. Only on a roll of 10+ would the cockpit take damage, and even then, only 1/3rd of the damage would be transferred to the cockpit's armor and structure. I explained this as being literal 'last second' twitches of the cockpit controls to allow such good pilots to slightly move the Mech's torso, or side-step, the incoming shot, just enough to rob it of the surety of a 'one shot kill'. This made sense later on when Morgan Kell was able to literally dodge enemy shots in an Archer Mech. If Kell could do it, someone else could as well. And thus my explanation of the Bounty Hunter's skill was finally accepted by the play group as a whole. As an example of a Bounty Hunter Mission. I once had the players acting as Cranston Snord's Irregulars, looting several facilities on a periphery world... a Bank, a Museum, and an old pre-looted Star League base. At one of these sites, the Bounty Hunter would arrive to contest the looting (having been paid to stop the Irregulars by the Planetary Government). Things did not go all the Bounty Hunter's way though. Snord and his Command Lance escaped, taking with them several high value items of antiquity (a collection of ancient United States currency, the 'Starry Night' Painting by Van Gogh {which was housed in an argon containment device similar to the ancient US Constitution}, and several other such historically significant items). All of which Snord could sell to Inner Sphere collectors for serious amounts of money. It turned out that this scenario was played out at each place, rather than just one. For the record, the Bounty Hunter was successful in 2 out of 3 of his attempts to stop the looting. I know, not the usual posting, but fond memories none the less.
Considering how adamant the creators were about how lostech is persona non grata for 100% of the Succession Wars, letting this guy be the only one with it was the one thing about the BT universe I didn't like. I let my players have it by rolling on a chart like in D&D.
he only seems to get lostech sometime after the 3020s when his marauder is upgraded with star league double heatsinks, before that he's just rocking the mechwarrior combat suit which was rare but available
Another great vid! Couple questions for you. 1 what do you prefer 40k or battle tech(I prefer battle tech) 2 what country are you from? Thank you and have a beautiful day

That honestly doesn't sound fun to play.
The Man With No Name, Boba Fett, and The A-Team, The Dread Pirate Roberts all in one
It was dog the bounty hunter finally done with nonlethal methods.
haha
Just watched a player kill the bounty hunter with a headshot, no ejection, and then get the message from him admitting defeat.

The Dred Pirate Roberts of the Sphere. Very cool.
There is a audio clip of Natasha vs. Bounty Huntr out there
The Bubba Fett of the BattleTech universe.
Excepts there's multiple bobba fetts in this case.
Very cool. I've heard of this character before, thanks for the lore Sir.:)
TRO 3025 has the Bounty Hunter as a notable character in the text for the MAD3R
Glad you enjoyed it.
Never watched your channel before. This is the first video I've seen, and after about 3 mins I was like, waitttt is that Sven the Gentle?!?!?!
It is indeed.
Good work as always dark
Thanks for the video sir!
Thanks for watching.
Roland the BattleMech Pilot...
Excellent, as always
Its link! He is a perpetual popping up all over time.
I wasn't aware of this. But now I must make a MW5 solo Warhammer and go on an assassination mission spree pitting the major houses against each other.
Sounds legit.
How did it go?
@@DarkBlader88 uh amazing. Warhammer is pretty OP for a heavy, IMHO. My hero Warhammer is like an avenging angel of metal and death.

I prefer 40k because I read far more books in that setting, but I still like both. It's not like I dislike Battletech. I am from Romania.

Not sure.

i hope the Black Widow comes up.
You did not make a Princess Bride Reference?
They??? Are there many boundy Hunters???
Theres multiple guys using the same persona throughout the decades.
Some mechwarriors use they/their pronouns.
Tyrus Rechs is better.
