will work for tools
I like that way of thinking! 👍🏻
0:44 Meanwhile me a noobs who tried to joint 80x30 inch tabletop for my working setup, with a shy toolkit (grinder, drill, and just hand planner).
My original wood itself was just 0.6 inch thick, so I duplexed them first, now it's about 1.3 inch.
My main concern was, will it be strong enough to hold them together with those kind of dowels?
They are pine woods, I didn't know how much exactly it weights. Maybe my last option was bring it to my local woodworker.. as I didn't have that long clamps.
Yep, I don’t see any reason why that wouldn’t be thick enough. Good luck with your build! 👍🏻
@@mmcc_woodshop6288 thanks! As always, regrets never came in front of us xD
Great video! I am torn between buying a 500 or a 700 Domino and was wondering if you could have done this with the 500 including attaching the breadboards? Also...I have watched a few videos where they used dominos between each board of the glue-up. Curious if this was overkill or just one persons way of doing a large glue-up? Thanks.
Thanks! The center joint could certainly be done with the 500. I personally don’t use dominos between every board because I can run them though the planer if they don’t glue up perfectly. It does work well if you don’t have a wider planer, it just takes quite a bit of extra time.
I’m not sure if the 500 would be able to cut deep enough to properly attach the breadboards. Here is the separate video I made using the 700 for the breadboards on this table. Thanks for watching!

@@mmcc_woodshop6288 Thanks. As it turns out, my first project when I get a Domino is to do a big farm table for out in our party barn but don't know overall how many bigger projects I would do requiring the 700. Because I do have the table to do and the overall versatility of the 700, I feel like that is the direction I am headed though.
send the measures to do it
It can be made to any size, there aren’t specific measurements
