To be fair... maybe even the best and most artistic band ever on this planet so far... Almost all of their songs are so powerful, regardless of the magnificent videos, that they will stand the test of time. I knew from their first song that I heard back in 2005 that this is my music and these guys are great.
Mate i get you. This song was probably the best BBC live lounge ever and was so underrated. Just like he is really. Apart from morbius. That's on him lol The green lantern of his movies @@MarkoMakela-kk7qf
Dude his voice! I'm just mind blown right now, I listened to them as a teen as well and didn't even know till tonight, HES the brother from Lord of War and so many other movies/ pics I've seen of him! Woooowwwwwwww
i always die a little inside when he says "there you go" at the end, cause after like 15 years of singing i'm not even close to his level of mastery, though i'm a baritone so i have to sing this song like 3-4 tones down, i think originally it's in c and i can comfortably sing it in g, but man his technique and tone is amazing one of my favorite vocalists out there, especially their third album
I don't care if you Beth are a little bit biased about this band... I think this is the best band of 2000's and Jare Leto is a true artist back to his bones and also one of the best bands ever in all respects. When I gladly for the first time at 2007 heard this band and the song was 'From Yesterday'... I knew I had found something new and remarkable... and I won't back down on this one...
Didn't know that version. Jared is amazing, loved it and your comments are always welcome to learn about the magic of singing, thanks! Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
I was really impressed by his vocal...he avoids a lot of the vocal tricks that a lot of R&B singers indulge in where a nondescript meandering melody is propped up by scale shredding but the song never gets off the runway musically or emotionally...
If I remember correctly, this was the first time they played this cover, Jared actually does a much better job in other live performances later on. It makes me a little sad that with a voice like that he's now using that awful autotune, but I guess that's what sells these days. I would still love to see you react to a song by Manic Street Preachers ;)
Leto does a great job on this well-crafted song. Surprised. I usually think of him as someone this side of commitment ready...his antics are so goofy. Aside... very good actor
i must listen to this about 5times a week, i LOVE 30stm and the song stay by rihanna but jared’s vocals are INSANE, they played in the UK (manchester) in april around my birthday and i didn’t go and see them, everytime i listen to 30 seconds go mars i hate myself just a bit 😂😂💀

Hello Beth! Would you consider a reaction to the song 'The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove' by Dead Can Dance? Im sure you will find this rather uniquely surprising both in vocal and instrumentation!
Despite the (probably deserved) negative reputation Jared Leto has got, that doesn’t take away from how good of a singer he is. A lot of 2000s pop rock/emo bands weren’t great at clean live vocals, but he holds up.
Jared Leto has become one of those artists whose off camera/off microphone antics have become so infamously ridiculous, its really hard to separate them from any art he produces. I genuinely like his voice, he's had some really decent moments as an actor, but all I can see is him gliding around that island, barefoot in a sheet, with his cult following blindly behind him. His eccentricities are undermining his contributions to his chosen arts(see Joaquin Phoenix, Harmony Korine, Klaus Kinski, Kanye West, hell, even Marlon Brando, to some extent.)
The man is very talented. I've been a fan for quite some time and he really is overlooked unfortunately. He's incredibly successful in music and is an Oscar winning actor. As a fan it's sad to see his talent go unrecognized because people rather speak about his eccentric behavior and cult rumors, which aren't true at all.
Let's not get too deep... He and his brother are really geniuos in music and their songs will be listened way longer in future that most of us would ever even think. And Jared is a good actor too and didn't mind to take quite troubled characters to play... He has balls.
These kind of vocals are something that you have to born with.
I've been listening to this cover of one of my favorite songs for years. NICE. It gets slept on
His version of this song is my favorite verison. His vocals are incredible. 30STM has some great songs.

You should check out his cover of Bad Romance.
Me encantó su voz un tanto desgarradora y mucho sentimiento bien Beth 👏👏🍀🍀
Oh wow I didn't realize you did this one.
Jared slaughtered this song. I greatly prefer his version of Rihanna's.

Probably deserved ? That feels incredibly undeserved.
