Amazing how more and more companies are building attachments for mowers. Definitely a cost saving concept versus purchasing dedicated expensive equipment that are only used several weeks a year.
Does this work in reverse? What have you come up with for the areas that need aeration but aren't accessible with this or any other tow behind unit? Want to get this but I have a lot of medium to small size properties with random beds and things in the lawn that I don't think I could get to with just this
Great idea I was looking at ordering that I may and attach it to my Wright zk like that . Everything came with it to attach like that or you have to get more parts for it ?
Not really a good fit for the area I'm in. A lot of larger properties here and I need to cover more ground faster. I would like to get a 36" stinger stand on aerator eventually.
i currently have a walk behind aerator but want to upgrade, does this work on small yards? i dont want to waste money was considering the toro stand on but it this can do the job i much rather spend less money thank s for any info
Yeah, you got weight on it but I think the weights need to be distributed on top of the spindles. But it still did a good job when you added more weight.
Did you not end up liking the one you mounted on the front of the z3x?? I just finally got to that video and now I see this video is newer lol, your all over the place bruh lol, I’m trying to get a new setup besides the tow behind agri fab hee haw style like I’ve been using for home use
@@HandyGuy2016 thanks! probably getting an electric Ryobi 80v rideon when released next month, learning from you about accessories (like skipping the agri-fab & getting the aero8tor).
Hey is it worth the $1,800 Ballard inc is asking? That's a steep price.. I have a 36 scag swzt idk if it's too much for my mower. I also have a pro stance 48 that they claim can mount to standers with the flip up deck.
If you have hills or any slope the 36 slides down. Then you are stuck at the bottom. This doesn’t work for commercial setups. It hauls terrible and needs ideal conditions to work.
@@Santreezy it’s useless for any lawns that need remedial help. Only got for already healthy lawns. Save up and get a hydro aerator and deliver quality work.
@@HandyGuy2016 💯 agreed upon buying a expensive stand on Aerator that will only be used begin/end year. BUT - with I did come across this, DUAL-AER 2475 Dual Hydro Walk Behind Aerator, Sulky included MSRP: $5,500* This maybe the answer

Agreed
Great video. We have 2 Aero8tor. They make weights (50lbs) that connect to rear axle area. You had a good idea for those running the stander mowers.
Awesome video, learn so much from watching your videos, keep em coming
Thank you
Thanks to you i know what aerator I'm getting , just want to thank you for making this video.
Great video always look forward to watching
Thank you
I have one for the fall as well. Going to be fun

Yes it works in reverse. If you need to go through gates smaller than 36", I would recommend a walk behind aerator for those areas.
How easy would this be to disconnect and load into a pickup truck bed? I don’t want to use a trailer if I don’t have to.
It weighs around 250 pounds

All the parts came with it.
Is this your best choice for aeration with a Z3X? Ever consider a Ryan Lawnaire? Thanks, love your vids.
I tried a Ryan once.
Not a good match for the machine?

@@HandyGuy2016 I’m lookin at the 36 inch tow behind Ryan unit weighing 500 Lb. Do you think the Z3x has the traction and power to pull that?
Yes I do but there is only one way to know for sure.

It works great especially considering the price difference.

The Zrator is good, it's just not a as efficient as I had hoped and it needs to be on a very heavy mower ideally.
Great videos, do you think this could work with a ride-on mower vs. standing?
I do, it would be just like a pull behind type.
@@HandyGuy2016 thanks! probably getting an electric Ryobi 80v rideon when released next month, learning from you about accessories (like skipping the agri-fab & getting the aero8tor).
Good choice

It is extremely well built, so if you have the demand for aeration where you can make money, this is a lot cheaper than buying a stand on aerator.

@@calebwillems7968how do you think a 52” scag walk behind would do? I have some steep hills.
@Santreezy possibly, traction might be an issue depending on tire size.

Thank you for taking the time doing this video. Any issues with loading it on the trailer without it attached to the mower. Is it really that heavy?
Very heavy, definitely want it hooked up to something
What's the suggested min/max user weight?
Not sure, I'm 180 and it works great.
@@HandyGuy2016 I gotta stop watching your channel, buying to much stuff 🤣🤣🤣 thank you for the insight! Appreciate the videos!

I’m picking one up for 600$ today- I hope it’s worth it!
Hey amigo is this better than the agrifab?
Better quality, but smaller size and different design.
As far as aeration quality, it's definitely better than the agrifab
Awesome I’ll definitely be purchasing one for this fall and attach it to my 648M
