@@Genetic_Memory-o8k I have an Amiga 1200, but I honestly play with the WinUAE emulator. If something happens to the Amiga 1200, I don't have the budget to buy another one...
@@Harkonnen75 Thanks. I bought an amiga console last year but I don't get the chance to play on it much. I usually just download the games on lemon amiga. Not sure if you can access new releases on there though?
Some impressive WIP/ports/remakes, and also some new games. Great year, let's see if 2024 can match it!! Some new games seem to be a bit different - Cyberpunks 2, Magicore Anomala, Pleiades 3D, Ooze, Nightshift, Bulbmaster, Ring around the World, Rogue Declan Zero. Others have great gfx (like Hamulet or Scourge) or impressive tech! One thing we can be sure of - if we didn't have Castle 'Vania on Amiga before, we sure do now. :D
totally agree. works perfectly on an Amiga 500. It is spectacular. I've been following it for a while when the game was called Dread I hope the game comes out with a physical edition, because it deserves it.
Probably if the cd32 didn’t disappear so quickly games could be pushed to the limit obviously with some hardware upgrades but now I can only reminisce old good Amiga days 😢
Absolutely. It's been a great year and more interesting games will come next year... Thanks to all the developers and demosceners the Amiga is more alive than ever...
It is a port or remake of the game on c64... As I mentioned in the description of the video, it is a compilation of new games, demos, ports,... etc. The important thing is that the friendly development community is very active...
It seems to me (maybe with 1 or 2 exceptions) all of them - except ... 4 AGA games in here I think. If you're worried about the arcade ports, most should only require a little bit of acceleration and should work on ECS. So I think you're fine because you have the extra chipmem and faster acceleration than A1200.
00:47 this one is amazing, half Kunfu Master and half Vigilante. The graphics are stunning, like an arcade machine.
Totally agree. I bought the game a few weeks ago and I'm enjoying it like I did when I was a kid...It's just great!
@@Harkonnen75 How did you buy the game? Do you have an amiga?

Amiga and Spectrum forever!!!
Grind looks amazing, performance is strong on an stock A500 - I've been following this on The English Amiga Board forums.

I would have been a very happy child playing all of this :D

Many of these games look pretty incredible.
I'll keep that in mind for future short videos...
@@Harkonnen75 I corrected my comment because you actually gave the links in the description and I felt bad for criticizing your video.
We need one of those Historical Medieval simulators expanding on what Iron Lord tried to do,
Very nice video.
It was a good year for the amiga, wasn't it ?

Thank You for this good overview
Good vidéo, but it would be good to seperate the wip and the final release of games..
Hmm... that's a good idea. Maybe I'll do it for next year's final video. Thank you
Can these games and demo can be played on new Amiga 500 Mini ?
I'm not sure 'Bagman' is a new game - I recall playing it back in the 90's.

Nice ! But how many of these games can be run on non-AGA Amigas ? I ask as I have A3000in real h-w...

Amazing
Forest of Illusion look amazing
I am guessing that Mickey Mouse being made public domain means releasing port of old console game featuring him would not result in legal trouble ?
Please capture Amiga videos in 50fps...
Very good but - IMHO - ZX Spectrum modern games are more impressive.
12:15 whats the name of this game?
Guardian The Legend of flaming sword

There are several fake retro games upgraded with modern hardware like devil´s temple son of kung fu master and rastan, etc
