Tasmania 33 Murray Valley & Canberra

Road, Central Part 33 of 33 of a road trip from Brisbane to Tasmania, returning via Victoria's Great Ocean Victoria, Great Alpine Road and Canberra.
The following morning, after driving back to look at the Hume Dam, we crossed the Murray again at the long steel trestle bridge at Bellbridge, to continue our trip in Victoria again.
We followed the Murray to Jingellic, crossing it there to join the Hume Highway at Holbrook, of submarine monument fame. Then on along the highway, turning at Yass for Canberra.
We spent the two nights in Canberra, using the day available to first go to the Telstra tower on Black Mountain for the panoramic views of city and surrounds. The remainder of the day was spent at the Australian War Memorial where we waited for the daily closing ceremony before returning to our hotel.
We departed Canberra the next morning, headed directly for home. We arrived a matter of days before the borders closed for the first Covid-19 lock down. After our long trip, being confined to home, was not much of an imposition at all.
