I got deactivated for taking picture with facemask. They asked for proof and i sent them my drivers license and told it was genuine mistake since i drive with facemask all the time. They rejected. Unbelievable! After one year of pandemic service and high customer rating this is how they treat you! I never in my wildest dream thought they would fire me for uploading picture with facemask! This company needs a thorough lesson or else just relish the modern corporate slavery culture. I am still in shock! But I’m also thankful I got the issue resolved.

So basically I was working my shift when on my last order I get a notification saying my account has been deactivated. A few minutes later I get an email saying that I've been deactivated because a customer said that I didn't deliver a batch. Even though I usually either send pictures or hand the groceries off directly to the customer. It just seemes super weird that it was so out of the blue. I have always been good with deliveries and leaving them where they are meant to be. I even call sometimes to make sure I have the right house. It just seems extremely unfair that the representatives couldn't even give me a decent explanation only saying that since I called the case will be marked as important or something. This was 2 months ago. I couldn't wait anymore. I had to go with ‘gigwhiz’ from the comments.

I have a legal ID which I used once a year ago for registration. Suddenly yesterday they deactivated my account, I sent them an email with pictures of my legal ID, contacted care, they said someone created a second account under my name which is impossible since you can only open up one IC account with the same details. I had to pay gigwhiz to get reactivated again. I'm no conspiracy theorist but I think IC is just trying to get rid of shoppers.
I was falsely accused and had my account deactivated before meeting gigwhiz. It's things like this that make me think wearing a dash cam on a hat while doing deliveries might be a good idea. That way there is proof of every interaction with a customer or merchant.
Taking the time to help me was a very nice thing for you to do. I know that you are a person who sacrifices for others without thinking.

My friend got into a car accident and flipped his Honda Civic while delivering the groceries and instacart deactivated him permanently because he didn’t respond fast enough when the Custer didn’t get her groceries which was unfair because he was unconscious in the back of an ambulance and woke up to being deactivated (sorry rant) it pisses me off when I think about it. So we really have to resort to geniuses like BLUTECHS because these Mega companies care little about us.

My customer DD account was deactivated for "fraud", and along with it went my dasher account. Tried to appeal and they said it was due to fraudulent account activity. I can see no reason why I'd be deactivated. I wasnt marking orders not delivered as a customer, and I had no violations as a driver. I had to pay #gigwhiz to get login access. It’s sad how this company treats us

So I was running Instacart last night and my tire got a hole in my tire so only did half a day. I was on the road today and I got an email saying it's under investigation. Of course I called and asked why and they said it was because I was inactive?.
My ratings are good and I usually don't communicate with customers unless I have to.
