Guys im going to be straight honest with you, i have no pc technical skills, i will answer any questions to the best of my ability. i just followed the instructions on the mod db website to the best of my ability.

I have a question though, do I have to run the Vanilla version of the game before installing Expedition?
you are very welcome! Yes ,once anomaly is installed, run the game to the menu at least once then exit. this creates a ini file for the mods to latch onto! happy hunting

Was wondering if it's normal to have the inventory icons that you have or the base game ones, because for some items I have the base game icons.
its normal, it really only changes in game graphics.use page up/page down in game to adjust tint for inventory.
try debug mod to see if new assets where imported. (ex. guns/armor/misc items)

@@Vlad_impalatore I got it working, the author's readme file is a bit odd, English probably isn't his first language so you can't fault him there. Open the base Anomaly > db folder and copy everything except for the "mods" folder". Then open the "Anomaly Expedition 2.2 > db" folder and paste the copied files and folders there. Basically instead of creating a db folder with all the required data I think he kept the file smaller (due to the size limitations he mentions in his readme) by making you copy files from the original folder to the modded one. That is all it took for me to get up and running. Hopefully it works for you.

Just out of curiosity. Im trying to figure out why im getting very high gpu usage on this game. Downloaded stalker anomaly along with expedition 2.2 and am getting near 100 percent gpu usage at pretty low settings. I have a 1080ti i7 7700k and 16gb of ram. Anyone know why this could be happening?
That sounds like a memory leak!open up task manager during anomaly game-play to see gpu/cpu usage.see how much ram is installed into your pc.(with nividia ) to verify..ATTENTION!! MOST NATIVE INSTALLS WITH OUT REDIRECT INSTALL BY DEFAULT RESULT ON C DRIVE,WHICH IS CRITICAL TO PC OPERATION!!!WHEN YOUR C DRIVE IS MAXED OUT,THEIR IS NO BUFFER FOR GRAPHICAL PROCESSING POWER!! TRY INSTALLING ON D DRIVE FOR LOWER MEMORY USAGE!.
Maybe put a frame limit? Judging by your usage you must be running like +300 fps

you want high gpu usage. thats what your gpu is for.
overwrite everything?.... how do i get it into the game folder im massuming das where u overwrited how would i do that if just one file in the whole game folder is selected...
yes you are replace vanilla data with the newly modded data. once you drag the unzipped moding contents to your anomaly folder it will prompt you to overwrite files, click yes and it will apply the modded content according to that folder.
Hey dunno if you're still replying but everytime I do try to download from media fire, I end up with a download failure - file incomplete , any idea why?
some times media fire links break or expire.

Hey man. I know you are busy and all, but I wanted to know if you could help me. I followed this tutorial and tried to run the game but once I click to run the game it loads the stalker anomaly image and then it goes away and my computer gives me a notification sound without a notification. I can't play the game. It worked fine until I copied and pasted the expedition to the vanilla folder.
not sure friend.maybe it was extracted wrong.i coped the zip file content into a new black folder and it worked.for new versions of anomaly the process should be the same.

Hey, your tutorial is just pefect, but I have a little issue, I have a lot of infos at my left when I launch and play the game that show me my FPS and a lot of graphic shit, I spend an hour to fixe that but still cant, maybe you know how to hide this ?
if you have a over lay for your computer,maybe disable it.also check to see f your running full screen mode in stalker.

In your opinion. What define Expedition mod. then Gamma and EFP
For I mostly play Gamma and EFP
Honestly ive never played Gama or EFP.but this mod to me is a simple overhaul with one action and easy for first time modders. i saw gameplay footage for EFP and i think it looks so cool!might be my next video!
ive tried gamma it was dope but i ran into a weird glitch where no matter where i went or what i did it was blackscreen so i had to do a full delete and reinstall. trying expedition currently in download process EFP looks dope too
@@deadshot4245 that bcuz thank to a big youtuber spotlight it crash the moddb server.
As for installing. It can be weird at that. You just need to have patience and a bit on luck pray that it not have a corrupt file installed

its a attachment of a lazer pointer for cqc
@@gat1gigs782 is it like a hotkey that you can tap or it needs some tinkering
@@marusgoren9977 no tinkering required.when a gun has a side rail laser and a scope you can tilt to it for cqc.i think its V (same button that fires a under slung grenade launcher)

@@dimka9448 I had the same issue. Now it looks like its expedition 2.2. Not sure if that changes the installation process.

sorry for the delay,in the launcher try running it in full screen mod.i think boarder less windowed mode might have something to do with it.

hello, I have a big problem, for some reason, my Avast Antivirus blocks the direct media fire any time I try to click the link to download the mod, is the website dangerous, and is there any other way to download it?
try allowing permission for that site on your ad blocker.
@@gat1gigs782 hello again, I could have replied to you days before but I was busy with school and stuff, anyways I did what you said and I succesfully downloaded Expedition. But here's a catch, when I installed and went to play new game, I realized that instead of having HD model items in the inventory, most of those were vanilla (by that I mean that outfits and most of the items still have vanilla texture), another catch is when I started as Clear Sky faction, the NPC's are loners and not Clear Sky, unless ofcourse if that's what they are supposed to be like that. Other then that, everything is looking great and fun, thank you for the tutorial btw!

umm my game is just black like no light just black and Can not pull out the flashlight
their might be a bsa file that is corrupt.enter the game data find the flash light bsa animation file and delete. regardless of updated install their was animation flaws....EX.)Every time i opened my backpack my game crashed...I.E.) I Deleted the"open back pack animation file"in my game data directory .

After I click play S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly it shows stalker anomaly in the middle of the screen then closes the application and makes the windows beep sound
If you are using nvidia try to update your drivers,if not once you install stalker anomaly make sure you launch it at least once,this creates a ini file for other mods to lacth onto.
@@gat1gigs782 I am having the same problem here. it pops up in the middle of the screen for less than a second and then disappears with the disconnect sound. I updated my nvidia drivers and it is still an issue. any thoughts?
when you installed anomaly did you run it at least once to create a ini file? this has to be done first before adding any mods to a game.

@@gat1gigs782 I did run the game when after following your first video. I did not start it but I loaded the menu and changed a few settings. where can i run as admin? I don't see an option to run as administrator on the launcher

Thanks for the tutorial but this game doesn't run very well on my rig. Mid-tier 2017 specs should be more than enough to do it too. Oh well, I'll try modding the regular games.

dude im really pulling my hair out on this, i followed everything lightning ist completely shit and buggy, i tried the last 10hrs to get this working and im gonna leave it for a time now...
it is frustrating i know,with mods there is a million things that can go wrong. my advice is one you download anomaly, and the other mod, save them in a separate folder away from your games. this way if you mess up you can always re apply them fresh and not have to sit in your browser and wait for it to download again.

once you launch the modded version of anomaly make sure your menu screen looks like mine in the video.if different that's a sign that expedition mod is not installed correctly.
