PADDLE-WHEEL BOAT With Bubble Blocks ? Scrap Mechanic

I made a working paddle wheel boat.
There are a few videos of it on my channel from 10 months ago ;-)
Even a working one doesn't go very fast but yeah, the way to make it work is to use suspensions.
Kind of like how you were trying to use pistons here.
If you put suspensions at the same place where you put the pistons and instead of making the paddle out of bubble wrap, you need to use a heavy material, like concrete or bricks.
Once that is done, it becomes a matter of adjusting the size of the paddle, increase the buoyancy of your boat as needed to avoid flipping when the paddle wheel is turning.
The bigger the wheel, the faster your boat will go but if your boat doesn't have enough buoyancy, the wheel will make it flip in the water instead of making it go forward.

You need to make an even width paddle and seperate each phin with bearings pistons or suspensions, basically making the paddle pieces into childs.

Try instead of piston try use suspension? Cause suspension compress and hope then that when it extend enough generate enough lidt

maybe the wheel is too heavy and when it spins and when its touching the water it slows down but when it is out of the water it starts going fast again so becuse of that it goes up and down

Might be, or maybe it all needs to be way bigger, I need to figure out how to stop backward motion.
