Lately when i press Dash, it just says "Looking for Offers" And waiting several minutes and no offers. So i go to suggested hotspots. Park and wait. Still nothing Nothing. So i end the doordash. Anyone else have that issue? Please advise ! Only my 4th day doordashing. Many Thanks
never wait in parking lots. identify the restaurants taking doordash orders. mark them on your map. then make a route that drives a circuit thru them and loops back. its like trawling than fishing in one spot
I’ve been DD four years, when I first started I did that. I found out that some hot spots are only hot spots for ten minutes and it changes. So I use to waste gas trying to go from hot spot to hot spot. Next thing I found out is some areas/parking lots do not have good connection so it’s saying searching for orders n you not getting any because of connection not strong. (I had an android when first started and ever time I go to McDonald’s I had zero connection. I would have to look at order before I get to store and confirm order after I driven off. I switched to a IPhone better at McDonald’s but still May notice weak area just like at Aldi.) so it could be you was in a bad area. If you have a dashers app for customers go on there see restaurants with good DD reviews are the hot spots, Chili’s, Red Lobster, American Deli, WingStop, Starbucks are just a few examples off HOT places you can hang around. The more you dash you will notice area you do a lot of pick ups for and the areas more likely to tip so you set up yourself in those areas. You don’t have to follow where they say is hot. The more you dash you will receive emails for shopping, catering, and alcohol. This will help broaden the area that are good for you. I do this full time and can start any time of day. From 10:30am-4pm I park close to liquor stores if one not hitting then I go towards one of the others I pick up from. During this time liquor is mostly what I get some restaurants along the way. 5pm-12pm liquor store still, some restaurants. 12am-5am area that still have open restaurants, & 24 hour Walgreens. Hope this helps.
The people who talk smack to non tipping customers must have never worked a customer facing job in their life. I would never dream of doing that nonsense. Curse them out under your breath all you want, but to actually say anything to a customer about what they paid is ridiculous. I hope those same people tip 30% every time they order anything... Otherwise, they better stfu.

Topeka, KS super bowl was pretty busy for good portion of the night. (First peak pay I've seen in a long time!) Seven orders I accepted did not leave any tip at all which was sort of a wow moment since several were double dashes and/or shop and pay and it felt a bit like lost potential as I would've made more had even some of those 7 had tipped. However I still made $125 in a little less than 6 hours which wasn't bad for here. Stay real dude! ❤
Tip or no tip other orders make up for the ones that don’t or can’t tip much also as far as orders that don’t pay as much I get orders all the time that are .2 to .4 miles and they pay $7+ that and the higher paying orders make up for the orders that are not so great. Dashers take the greed out of yourselves and you will win.
I am watching this in june the other day I got a order $5 going 7 miles i declined it and then I got a catering order paying $15. After completing the total pay was $70. What if I took the first order. Doordash is like Russian roulette it scares me because I am afraid if I take one order, I’m gonna miss the next order that’s better. It’s crazy.
Strange as it sounds. The turn to an “ hourly wage” has marginalized us husslers. But it’s so far a fair comparison. And weirdly seems some parents are trying to make it just for their teens. So, the movers have the money, we have to show how we are better contributors to the local economic system. Or at least equal to the new emerging adults. In their eyes. Enugh said
Jefferson City, MO...i have been having problems with the App since January 2 and they won't fix it, they only wanted to pay me $4 to go 15-20 minutes out & it takes me out of the network & can make the same amount in the network...my brakes are going out, so i haven't been able to work...
Chattanooga TN. They are sending out $2/4+miles for pizza stores that aren’t open for 30 minutes. (To tricky neighborhoods) Why do they do that?? It’s insulting really. My rating are pretty good, it feels like DD tries to wreck you on purpose. I usually go with the flow like you’re saying but sometimes they are tripping!
My impression of those “shorted” orders. Is that we are playing customer service for those hourly drivers. And what finally is kicked out to experienced dashers with coustomer service skills. I would like a commission on that please. 🤯
Why they do it is to create negative controversy and greed, keep working take the good with the bad you can’t have every good order all the time but in time you will get them.
I would've snatched that $10 for 3 miles stacked order. I wouldn't even trip off of it because, like you said Koup, orders like that wouldn't normally take that long

I had one customer claimed they didn't get order. But what saved me was I take a picture of the address and order. No matter what. Even if it's just the mailbox. It shows I was there. I no longer lay order by door and take a picture. There's no proof that way. They really get on us hourly. All long distance orders. So I'm doing by order only
If you’re having a hard time with DoorDash by itself, have you thought about converting to being a multi aper and things like live streams while out on the road? it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you on here and I’m sure we’ve all missed you
Kristi here from Spokane WA... who are we to be judging customers that don't tip... seriously! We don't know they're personal situation. Here's a tip.... what we stay focused on comes true. Attitudes about tips will not bring tips. I choose gratitude because that's all I've got. 5 years driving for DD full time.
@@josuelopez9991 well there’s definitely not true down here in my part of Florida. Immigrants don’t even watch any of these channels they don’t even know what’s up. They are out here running these streets not even caring what the offer is. But I guess I can get it. They can’t legally get any other jobs right now so they’re just doing what they can to feed their families but unfortunately they’re pushing us that are also doing the same thing out.

im curious hw many of you have got big $30+ tips. im almost 5k orders and ive never gotten a payout over 25. never once

Can’t afford to strike at all at this point. Here lately been getting nothing but trash offers but you gotta keep that money flow.
And if we don’t unite as dashers and strike we will keep getting these type of orders.
