They really should have testers at the drugstore. It’s hard to find a product that’s unopened sometimes cause people open them and test them anyway, then nobody wants to buy the opened ones. It would probably save them money in the long run. Love your videos :)
I totally agree and it would save them money.
The only problem with that is, and this is exactly what’s happening at stores like Ulta, is that people steal the testers. Not to mention some 2 year olds are less messy. So we’re back to square one. However to me personally I’d rather buy from a drug store then I would buying on line from a photo of the products color selections.
L’Oreal lash primer is fantastic. I use it all the time. Thanks for clipping your hair back, so much easier to see what you are doing. Love all your in depth knowledge.
Hi Lisa, I would love to watch more reviews on drugstore makeup. That is my price point! I am very fair with a very cool undertone, so I would also like to see recommendations for very cool shades in eyeshadows, like taupe-brown and creams in near-matte formulas. Thank you!
Yes! While I enjoy high end makeup, it's typically a splurge. I want to know the best drug store products from a MUA. I want to know how well it works, if it lives up to its promises, and how well it wears. Wear tests are so incredibly helpful to me!! I hate makeup that doesn't last because I don't have time to keep fixing my makeup. Thank you for your very informative reviews and your tutorials. I always enjoy your videos!

Ive come to love L'Oréal age perfect concealer but I don't see anyone talk about it. Its thin and lightweight but gives medium very natural coverage. It is radiant and I do have to set with a little powder but it lasts even on my oily skin. I usually just use this with no foundation
I’ve always been a bit of a high end beauty snob, but since everything is more expensive now (gas, groceries) and 3 of our kittys have needed some expensive vet care, I’m rethinking it! And, the fact that drug store items are much better than they used to be.

The wet n wild photofocus eye primer is great! Tested it against the Milani and the W&W worked slightly better and creased less.

My favorite by far drugstore lash primer is L’ORÉAL Voluminous Base. It works with drugstore and high end mascara’s beautifully. The shorter 5 minute quick review videos sound great!

The Loreal eyelash primer is great and so is the Beauty Pie version. One last recommendation is the Ultra matte cream eyeshadow, I was blown away.
I was so excited to see you using those two eyeshadow palettes because those are my two favorites right now!! I just started using the Ulta eyeshadow primer and I'm liking it so far, but it's not translucent.
I love love love the pro fusion eye primer its hot a slight color to it but it works so good

Kelly Rose Sarno got me addicted to the maybelline sky high tinted primer. It doesn't make your lashes grow overtime like some do but for a primer to put on before your mascara its amazing

We have testers in the drugstore in the UK! Purely from a financial point of view it makes sense to not having people ruin products by opening them up and not using them!
For a drugstore eye primer I like the revolution ultimate eye base. It would benefit from an increased shade range I use light and it's on the border of being too light but the next shade is too dark. I'm a similar tone to you.
Another product from revolution im loving is the rehab line fix undereye primer. It blurs the lines under my 53 year old eyes and prolongs the time it takes before my concealer starts to crease xx

L’Oréal lash primer is really good!! And my very favorite mascara for many many years after trying very expensive brands (lots of them) is Maybline colossal. I keep going back to it. My fav.!!! And thanks so much for your great videos. Informative and so fun. 🌸😘

Stephanie Marie had recommended the ULTA beauty Matte Eye Primer (tube). I tried it & it is, by far, the ultimate “drugstore” primer. Covers the veins & discoloration without drying out your lid. The best!!!
Beautiful look, Lisa. I have used several Ulta products since being on a retirement budget. Really like Too Cheeky Blush, gloss sticks for lips, eye crayons, automatic eyeliners, automatic eyebrow pencils…. Have used powdered Ulta makeup in past, but find I enjoy the creams more now. Give more products a go, I think you’ll like them. Clean, easy on wallet, use coupons…. (Maybe an all Ulta video in the future? 😊)
Loreal Superstar primer +mascara is great! I use the primer for my lashes and the mascara is great for lower lashes. I use Loreal Bambi eye mascara for my top lashes! Highly recommend!

One of my favorite looks. Beautiful. Might have to try these myself LOL. I have never used a lash primer. I wish I could color match at the drugstore it’s so hard and each brand is different with their names.
I use the Essence lash primer, it works really well. It is white so if that bothers you you might not like it but it does work.

Try the Cover Girl Lash Blast Amplify Eyelash Primer. I have tried the Dior, and my favorite is actually the Lancome (used it 20+ years now), but the Cover Girl comes very close.
I've used Revlons eye primer..works great.
I love the flower beauty lipsticks. I've heard they are a dupe for the Merit lipsticks!
I love the essence lash primer.
The wet and wild primer is very good.
Loreal has a good eyelash primer. I love it.
Ulta brand Matte eyeshadow primer and Milani eyeshadow primer!!
What is the creamiest & best eyeliner 4 a beginner??
Drug store formulas have come a long way. I enjoy my Flower Beauty lipstick, but I have a lipstick fettish and must have 40 shades from mostly drug store brands (L’Oréal, Maybelline, Revlon, Milani, FB, Essence - you name it). Really love the reformulated L’ORÉAL True Match Super Blendable foundation with a pump. I love it more than my NARS Light Reflecting and Haus Labs foundations. My favorite high end foundation remains ABH Luminous.
Milina eye primer is all I ever use and I have super hooded eyes. It's awesome!!

Best eyeshadow primer combo I use is Wet n Wild photofocus eyeshadow primer, let that dry down, then tap on MAC paint pot in Painterly. Makes eyeshadow pop and does not crease!! 🥰

I have those L.A girl eyeliners but I use it on my waterline and they last so long, best one I have tried and that includes high end ones. For eye primer the NYX one is okay but my fav is the fenty I have worn that one for over 12 hours and my shadows looked great!

I have been really liking the Maybelline Sky High lash primer. And be forewarned: it’s black like mascara! What’s neat about that is it doesn’t grey out your mascara!! My black mascara is black! Don’t know why this wasn’t done in the beginning of lash primers!
I enjoy ULTA’s eyeshadow primer.
Profusion’s pigment base is very much like Urban Decay’s Eden base-very opaque and matte. A lot like the Anastasia primer.
