You bet Robert. We all had a great time, kids, grandkids and I even stuck my backside in a tube. Editing now. More fun stuff from the area later this week.
@@iLoveRVlife I agree. I am from SC myself. I see you been here a good bit. What is your favorite? Also, I don’t live far from Cane Creek park in Waxhaw, NC. Have you ever been there?
We haven't been to Waxhaw. We'll check it out. Our favorites in NC depends on what we want to do. Mama Gerties is a big favorite for the Ashville area. We like the Yadkin Valley alot and like the folks at Byrds Branch. We'll stay in a new place to us in western NC this summer. Something different and looking to get out of the GA heat.
@@iLoveRVlife I agree. A lot of people are talking about Carolina Pines in Conway. I haven’t made it there yet. They have tiny cabins you can rent. We also loved the Yogi Bear in Golden Valley! We don’t have a camper yet but want one. We stayed in a tiny cabin there as well.
Thanks for sharing your video of this campground. I have been looking for some places to visit in this area. The Smokey Mountains are so amazing. Have a great day.
Great campground. There is another campground with similar characteristics in Townsend, Tennessee. Little Arrow is a hidden gem. Cement patios, nice, clean showers/bathrooms. Back into a site by the river just like the one you have shown. Thank you for your videos.
That looks amazing Jerry.but I’m too knew at RVing so I don’t think I can’t back my trailer into that spot just yet 😂. You and your wife keep enjoying the life Sir!
Practice, practice Juan. Find a empty parking lot on a weekend. Get a couple 5 gallon buckets and practice. I doubt I’ll ever be an expert, but I manage. This is a fun place, but a bit tight. I had to jack knife the 40 foot to get it in the spot. Man! Do I love RV life!
I love this video, third time that Ive watched it. We are thinking about upgrading our RV and wanted to know what size 5th wheel you are using? we are looking at one that is 41'5" but don't want to miss out on getting great sites like the one you were in
Thanks so much. We have 40 feet and is a little long for this campground. I think they have 4 sites that will handle longer campers. Also take your time on the road to the campground from Bryson City. It’s narrow, but manageable.
@@iLoveRVlife thank you for the reply. When you say they have 4 sites that will handle longer campers, did you mean creekside sites,or just 4 sites total? I called them but they are closed till January. Thanks for all the information.
Haven’t got to stay at that particular campground but I’ve stayed down the road from there. It is a very beautiful area. I’m coming over that way around October. Talk about a beautiful fall. The leaves are astronomical. Toward the mid to end of October. I have some friends over in Cherokee that own a campground called Wolf campground that I’m going to hit first. They have a beautiful trout stream that runs beside it. Gotta get my trout fishing in. Lol. Then I’m heading on over to Gatlinburg for a day or to then I’ll be coming over where you guys are now. My mother and father live about 3 and a half hours from your campground. Gotta visit the family. I hope y’all are having a blast .it sure looks beautiful. Make it over here to Raleigh sometime let me know fix you up with a nice steak dinner. Y’all enjoy! I’m living through you guys. Lol.
Sounds great John. Save your canned corn and flys for Deep Creek. We had neighbors that fished in the creek. We had fresh trout every day. And October is a great time to be in that area. Done so many times. Hoping to be close later this year.
Not the memory you want. We had a guy in the creek with a metal detector looking for a lost ring. It can be a bumpy ride. Fun, but understand how things can shake off.
I have had a cabin there since 2003. My kids used to wait at “Devil’s Dip” with their masks and fins when they were about ten. People would lose all kinds of things there, rings, keys, sunglasses. They would dive down and retrieve things and people would generally give them a tip. Good times! I still have the cabin. My kids have such great memories of the area I don’t think I could sell it I even if I wanted to.
My husband and I had a 40’ coach. We traveled the east coast from the Fl KEYS where we lived up to MAINE and we also went to our favorite place Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Texas the second largest canyon next to the GRAND canyon. We move out of the KEYS and we live in the mountains of Georgia. We sold our class A and have not traveled. We just purchased a 2021 25’ Rockwood Mini Light and will be traveling once again. Watching your videos is such a treat. We will visit many of the places you featured on your UA-cam channel and website. We also will be planning a return trip to Palo Duro Canyon State Park and also Caprock Canyon State Park. Please check these places out if you hav3 not already what a experience. I will say that NH, Vermont, and Maine are absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to traveling and you never know we may just bump into you and your wife Joan. Keep safe Lynn
Thanks so much Lynn. Joan and I have enjoy our time in North Georgia too. Welcome back to Rv’ing. We’re hoping to head out soon, but Covid looks the be an impact for some of the areas we want to visit. Trusting this will settle soon. Be safe and we hope our paths cross in our travels.
You're right, the beauty of the campground and the creek, make up for anything that it may lack.....Beautiful!!
Thanks Joanie. This is a fun place.
The best part about life is family time. What a great spot to camp at.
Absolutely Mark!
That looks like a campground that our kids would really enjoy
You bet Robert. We all had a great time, kids, grandkids and I even stuck my backside in a tube. Editing now. More fun stuff from the area later this week.
We absolutely LOVE Bryson city NC Deep Creek.....if only you could live there.....most peaceful trip ever...we go there as much as possible!!!
Hi Lou Ann. This is one of our favorites. Our kids go back every year.
Thank You for bringing video of NC Mountains and all they have to offer to youtube!!!
So glad we could share Jerry.
Very beautiful area. We went hiking in Deep Creek this past weekend and are looking at coming back and camping this summer.

Cool little campground. We have a few of these on the Tennessee side of the Smokies.
We love the Smoky Mountains. We did a number of stays on the TN side before we started the channel. About time to head back in that direction.

I am totally envious of your spot, it's so beautiful !! I love the sound of the water where ever I camp - Laurie
This is a fun place. Your right. Middle of the summer. 68 degree nights. Open the windows with the sounds of the creek. Perfect!
WOW! Awesome campground!
Hi Cindy. Fun little place and the tubing is great.

I’ll check out Townsend. Thanks for sharing.
Stayed there a few weeks ago, very nice people!
Just went tubing there earlier this week. Camped in Asheville and drove up there for the day.

Thanks for taking the time to respond Jerry. I will definitely take your advice.
awesome
Thanks!
Looked tight backing in there Jerry. U must be really skilled maneuvering in tight parks.....or maybe it just looks tight on the vid
Purcell, it was tight as a tick! Plus, I had to maneuver around a tour bus that was parked in front of my spot. Earned my chops on this one.

They are creek side. It’s a popular campground. Might need to be flexible with you dates.
@@iLoveRVlife thank you for the replies, we hope to meet you out on the trail someday. Love your videos. Thanks again

Would you please mention in your videos wether dogs are allowed? Thanks a bunch!
I’ll do so in the future. They do accept dogs. We saw them walking their owners every morning 😏
I Love RV Life terrific! And thank you! I may tip some scales if pets are allowed or not. Enjoy your time!
Check out Deep Creek Campground, right down the road from you. We stayed there last summer, and it is beautiful.
It is a nice campground. We've tried twice to reserve a spot 4th of July week and they book up a year in advance. Just bad timing.
What type of chairs are those that you have?
Hi Samuel. These are Core Camping Chairs. I just checked my Amazon link and unfortunately they’re not available.
Are there any trout in that creek?
You bet! We had 2 neighbors next to us who caught trout. We had fresh fried, grilled and smoked trout even day.

You were close at Cherokee. Bryson City is a few mile further down the road. Fun place.
Creek is nice but much too close to other RVS. I like a bit more room between my neighbor.
It is a bit close. The benefit is access to the Smoky Mountain National Parl, creek and tubing.
