      @@iLoveRVlife I agree. I am from SC myself. I see you been here a good bit. What is your favorite? Also, I don’t live far from Cane Creek park in Waxhaw, NC. Have you ever been there?

      We haven't been to Waxhaw. We'll check it out. Our favorites in NC depends on what we want to do. Mama Gerties is a big favorite for the Ashville area. We like the Yadkin Valley alot and like the folks at Byrds Branch. We'll stay in a new place to us in western NC this summer. Something different and looking to get out of the GA heat.

      @iLoveRVlife  4 роки тому

      Thanks so much. We have 40 feet and is a little long for this campground. I think they have 4 sites that will handle longer campers. Also take your time on the road to the campground from Bryson City. It’s narrow, but manageable.

    Haven’t got to stay at that particular campground but I’ve stayed down the road from there. It is a very beautiful area. I’m coming over that way around October. Talk about a beautiful fall. The leaves are astronomical. Toward the mid to end of October. I have some friends over in Cherokee that own a campground called Wolf campground that I’m going to hit first. They have a beautiful trout stream that runs beside it. Gotta get my trout fishing in. Lol. Then I’m heading on over to Gatlinburg for a day or to then I’ll be coming over where you guys are now. My mother and father live about 3 and a half hours from your campground. Gotta visit the family. I hope y’all are having a blast .it sure looks beautiful. Make it over here to Raleigh sometime let me know fix you up with a nice steak dinner. Y’all enjoy! I’m living through you guys. Lol.

      Sounds great John. Save your canned corn and flys for Deep Creek. We had neighbors that fished in the creek. We had fresh trout every day. And October is a great time to be in that area. Done so many times. Hoping to be close later this year.

      Not the memory you want. We had a guy in the creek with a metal detector looking for a lost ring. It can be a bumpy ride. Fun, but understand how things can shake off.

      I have had a cabin there since 2003. My kids used to wait at “Devil’s Dip” with their masks and fins when they were about ten. People would lose all kinds of things there, rings, keys, sunglasses. They would dive down and retrieve things and people would generally give them a tip. Good times! I still have the cabin. My kids have such great memories of the area I don’t think I could sell it I even if I wanted to.

      My husband and I had a 40’ coach. We traveled the east coast from the Fl KEYS where we lived up to MAINE and we also went to our favorite place Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Texas the second largest canyon next to the GRAND canyon. We move out of the KEYS and we live in the mountains of Georgia. We sold our class A and have not traveled. We just purchased a 2021 25’ Rockwood Mini Light and will be traveling once again. Watching your videos is such a treat. We will visit many of the places you featured on your UA-cam channel and website. We also will be planning a return trip to Palo Duro Canyon State Park and also Caprock Canyon State Park. Please check these places out if you hav3 not already what a experience. I will say that NH, Vermont, and Maine are absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to traveling and you never know we may just bump into you and your wife Joan. Keep safe Lynn
