Finally got my Slim 7i the other day. Love it so far. Every review I watched mentioned the lights on for the ports on the back being such a nice feature and I kept thinking that it really can't be that big of a deal. But after having it for a few days and plugging in a mouse and controller a few times I am now on board with that being one of the biggest selling features of this computer 😂.
I can’t wait to test out the slim 7i. I ordered a custom built model with the core i9 13900H, Nivida GeForce RTX 4070, as well with 32gb of ram. This will definitely be a huge upgrade in terms of gaming and work also a huge upgrade from my old MacBook Air Edit - the previous model has went down in price so it will be the exact parts except of the 32gb of ram it will have 16gb instead
@@Shane-te6ih I’ve been hopping around between the Slim 7i and Pro 7i due to discounts (I ordered the pro 7i since it was on a 28% discount) I believe the pro still has a 22% discount if you do lean toward it, but I can’t give a clear review on it.
Love mine so far! I've only had it since April 2024. Except for a hardware, speaker, problem I had, which Lenovo promptly fixed, these thing's been running great! That's saying something coming from someone who loves his 16" M1 Pro.
How much better is the 4070? RDR2, The Ascent? Currently have a slim 7 gen 7 AMD and like it but it’s really buggy with power management to use as an unplugged laptop. Is it worth upgrading?
Lenovo and ASUS are really making it hard to save during this season..

It also seems like they are putting sales on 2023 models while they get ready to push out their 2024 models.

Looks pretty good I am thinking buying 16p gen 4 with amd though , from what I saw it is the same as this laptop but with better speakers.
