This is great! Finally, a makeup artist who is not applying false lashes in everyday makeup. It’s very refreshing and great to see! This suits us better than mask - makeup! Ladies! ( for special occasions, sure, it's even recommended) I watched many of your pixiwoo videos in the past...I like this better so far; more natural and mature enough
We missed you so much 😩 words can’t describe how grateful I am to see you back. Thanks a lot for all this hard work and dedication through the year’s I always look after your amazing work. so much love💗💗💗
I would love a Brigette Bardot as a late 60’s early 70’s version. With the super heavy black eye shadow. Also Raquel Welch. I also love these everyday easy to achieve looks. I found this video really helpful! Thank you!
Yes, definitely more old Hollywood! Maureen O'Hara, Myrna Loy, Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, Natalie Wood, Jean Harlow, Barbara Stanwyck, Vivien Leigh, Dorothy Lamour, Carole Lombard, Ginger Rogers, Lana Wood, to name a few. So my vibe also!
I'm amazed at how that spf did a fantastic job as a sheer, and marvelous, base. The glow ( & you didn't even mention that buzz word) lol. Brilliant content and that's my next look!! xx
Beautiful as always and love how relatable you are. So refreshing to see beautiful makeup without the need for a million products. Excited for what is coming ❤
A make-up look AND wardrobe peeking?? Lucky day!😍 I love the understatement of the look, it really does go with anything😊 the brown lip looks gorgeous, kinda feels like a film noir vibe. "Old Hollywood" is something i will definitely be looking forward to! Also, i'd love to watch one of your "make-up therapy" creative sessions, if you ever feel like it😊❤
So happy to see your videos again-my favorite! Always a beautiful look and application tips. Thank you. Vivian Leigh was always my favorite actress from back in the day.
Gosh I’ve missed your videos! You’re always so genuine and the looks you create are stunning. I learnt so much from you when I first got into makeup and now I’m in my late 30s and my face and skin is changing I’m even more grateful for the knowledge and expertise you share. It’s so refreshing and inspiring to learn from a true expert how to use and, more importantly, ENJOY makeup.
I’m in my late 20s and I’ve been doing my eye makeup like that for a long time for work/outside just started doing it by myself not even inspired by today’s foxy eyes lol ,I’m genuinely impressed that you shared same type of eye makeup for everyday/event it’s very simple yet beautifies the eyes and doesn’t look overly done!I used to be confuse whether I should do winged liner or black inside my waterline ,btw I’m your fellow pixiwoo subscriber since i was teenager you guy’s were first make up artists I subscribed and watched daily, wasn’t interested in nikkie tutorials love from UAE dubai so don’t mind if my english
Welcome back! I left Instagram so was surprised to see you back a pleasure ofc because I am an OG follower. I hope your doing well. I loved this video so will always welcome universal, flattering, elevated, simple to achieve looks. I would like to see looks taken from day to night looks for weddings/parties. How to choose right lipsticks and blushes for your skin tone etc. BUT i would also love to see a day and night skincare routine cause your skin is looking 😍. But at the end of the day do what is easy for you I’ll be happy to see anything tbh.
You do wonderful makeup. Remember when you were in Fayetteville, Arkansas and did a meet and greet also makeup tips. You did my daughters eye makeup and taught her the kitten flick. It was a lovely visit you and Nic.
Great to see you back on YT Sam! Your videos have a lovely 'old school' YT feel to them. If that makes sense? Looking forward to your screen goddesses videos. Jane Fonda 'Barefoot in the Park' era would be great. Ava Gardner, Vivien Leigh. So many to chose from!
Lovely! So helpful to me (52 yr old makeup lover, but conscious of needing to scale it back a bit now!). Thank you for this advice. Btw love your outfits too - you look incredible in red!).
That was nice and simple and beautiful. I love the idea of the ombre lip. I always wear eyeliner and I think ill try the Sephora one as my eyeliner tends to bleed onto my lid for some reason. I'm loving all the tips. Thank you and best wishes from Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤
I missed watching you so much!!! I'm overjoyed that you're back on youtube :'3 It would be really cool if you could recreate the Sharon Stone look from Basic Instinct that you posted on instagram 🙈 Either way I can't wait for new videos and more looks 🥰
I’m sooooo happy you’re back on YT!!! 💖 I found you on IG a couple of years ago. You taught me how to wear blue eyeshadow which nobody else had been able to convince me of before… 😌💙 trying out this look rn. Xx
I LOVED the Marlene Dietrich video! Maybe you could recreate that one? ❤ I have been so happy to see that you are back making videos I enjoy them so much!
Besides the same 4 I always use I find it hard to find new brown mascaras, so I’ll have to try this one! As a fair blonde with blonde lashes I’ve often wondered if any brand makes a grey mascara, I’d love to try one but have never seen it…..
Love this look and how easy it is! The blusher is 🤩. But your skin is BEAUTIFUL! Could you do a video about skincare at all please? I don't think this look would look like that on my skin as i don'thave the same radiance as you!
Love the look ❤ Can you please give ideas to make hazel green eyes ' pop'! Seem to be stuck in a rut with the beiges, browns and terracotta. Old Hollywood vibes, maybe😂
Even with hooded eyes the liner shows when you look down to take a sip of water, or blink, or whatever. So, it will be appreciated : ) Our faces move, and not everyone in our day sees us only head on with our eyes open.
Wow I thought Breadwinner looked amazing on you! Question 🙋♀️ How would you compare the Sweed mascara to the 19/99 you mentioned in a previous video? I ordered the 19/99 in both black and brown after watching. I’m on the hunt for mascaras that favor pigment/definition over bulk as I’m starting to dread the feeling of heavy mascaras the older I get. Love these lighter looks
Samantha, greetings from Sydney Australia, I am 70 years old! I still like to wear makeup, my question is should I still wear mascara on the bottom lashes? ❤❤❤
Just telling you upfront - I will flip my lid 😮🥰💯 if you do Bette and Joan . I love when you talk about those old fashion techniques the how they drew the lips ect . Xx
Im also keen to s morr from you! I subscibed immediately during this video and then eagerly went to see what other videos you had! I look forward to seeibg what else you do! Thank you!

As a hooded eye gal this is so appreciated. Love your carefree and easy style here. Missed you
I love it ! Simple and elegant like a makeup uniform.
I like that, Jan.
Yes, definitely more old Hollywood! Maureen O'Hara, Myrna Loy, Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, Natalie Wood, Jean Harlow, Barbara Stanwyck, Vivien Leigh, Dorothy Lamour, Carole Lombard, Ginger Rogers, Lana Wood, to name a few. So my vibe also!
Have really been enjoying seeing you back on this platform. You are such a talented artist Sam. Have a smashing weekend.
That brown lipstick on you was awesome. Gave a very 90s grunge vibe! Love it.
When I was a teen in the sixties I loved make up [ still do] I would do twiggy s eye make up😊
So glad to see you and Nic back here! Thanks for sharing your skills and tips and keeping it real!
I'm amazed at how that spf did a fantastic job as a sheer, and marvelous, base.

I completely agree! And some more wardrobe peeking would be great, as the outfits were so stylish!

Amazing! Thanks for being back Sam. You and Nic are the best at this!
Thanks a ton!
yayyyyy you're back!!! you were always my favourite makeup artist on youtube because your looks were realistic enough for us all to do.
Wow, thank you!

Your hair looked super in the cut away shots. Can you please show us how you are styling your short hair? Thanks.
Loving the skin Sam, can you do a video on skincare? Show us your morning and evening routine x
I have westman s skin tint and her other products, but they are so $$$$ what other tint that’s just as good would you recommend
You do wonderful makeup. Remember when you were in Fayetteville, Arkansas and did a meet and greet also makeup tips. You did my daughters eye makeup and taught her the kitten flick. It was a lovely visit you and Nic.
Hi Carol, that’s such a lovely reminder of happy times. Thanks so much. X
Welcome back!!! We’ve missed you ❤️
Brill. Definitely going to try. Less is more sometimes
I actually thought the brown looked stunning on you without the red! You’re so beautiful it all looked stunning.
That brown fenty lipstick looks insane ! 😍😍😍
Damn those lashes are incredible! You look great as always. Love your videos! x
You look incredible, the clothes you chose all look great and the makeup is lovely. Welcome back!!! 🎉

I think I might’ve done it a few years ago but maybe it was just on instagram 🤔
Lol nostalgia.. I used to use your make up tips 😂🥰
I’m sooooo happy you’re back on YT!!! 💖 I found you on IG a couple of years ago. You taught me how to wear blue eyeshadow which nobody else had been able to convince me of before… 😌💙 trying out this look rn. Xx
You look amazing without makeup!😍
I bought the red lipstick you did with MAC, and I love it!
Beautiful make up Sam. Such a useful upload. Excited for the hollywood godesses🥰

I LOVED the Marlene Dietrich video! Maybe you could recreate that one? ❤

You need 2x full fingers of spf to be effective, so this spf base wouldn't be enough on its own x
Oh yes of course. Wear more underneath.
I've used the same eye pencil today, it's may fav shade of brown, such a good formula; so glad to see you're back 🤗

Looking gorgeous 😍
One last question….please what lash growth serum are you using?? Your lashes are exception.
I love this makeup look plus being shot in portrait view. What is your nail polish? It's the perfect nude!!!
Samantha, greetings from Sydney Australia, I am 70 years old! I still like to wear makeup, my question is should I still wear mascara on the bottom lashes? ❤❤❤

Love your necklace!! Where is it from?
Love this eyelook and video so much!❤❤❤
Do you think the 3ina No Rule stick in 503 would work on pale skin? or could you suggest a shade? Thanks!
Oh it would be awesome if you did Yvonne De Carlo, the WASN'T based on Lily. I think she was so beautiful in her day.
❤❤❤❤
