500 and something dollars or pounds for a top tier GPU is the price and always should be the price consumers have to pay. Double or triple that is insanity.
My comment (because Discord told me to!) is: OMG, I am so impressed with how well this ancient card holds up today! I'm guessing the blower fan was a bit noisy in some of these games but, still, that's an impressive showing, all things considered.
Would've been a Decent choice when GPUs were scarce.
I like that you actually enable fsr and fg in benchmark runs in cases where they make the difference. Just like the majority of us would do irl
jesus i remember when the 700 series were all the rage, then the 900 series came out and boy was it an upgrade
I went from a GTX 960 to a RTX 2060. I was pretty disappointed, as there wasn’t much of an improvement at the time, but I know the 2060 is holding up better today than the 960 would have.
My daughter is still using my old 980 till this very day. I've replaced the paste twice, and my one has the metal shroud.
Ah you can tell it is vintage due to the weird art on it! future archaeologists will determine distinct eras of graphics card based on weird art styles, I think special distinction will be given to that very odd waifu era in the mid 2000s.

Can you help me bc i installed new graphics card to pc amd rx6600xt and i buyed new no original pcie cable for graphics card bc i didnt had orginal cable for this modular power supply when i connected all fans in graphics card spin 3 sec and then nothing and its doing every time and graphics card wont show any display i ordered new power supply bc i thinks thats the problem but can you reply and give some info about this problem please?

I went from a 960 4GB to an RX 480, then an RX 6650XT in very rapid succession.
so now i need spare some money for 4080S yes that fire hazard -_- but ordered 13900 KS 🤩
