- Y'all frequently ask me to stream. The last time I did that was 2012 🤣🤣🤣. I stopped streaming to spare my wife having to listen to me talking non-stop for 2-3 hours at a time.
In this particular Twitch clip, I wrecked a level 46 Sorceror twice with my level 32 Gunslinger in Star Wars: The Old Republic and then prevented the enemy team from capping a node at the last possible moment. Good times!
I so miss good MMORPG PVP ☹️, many of the MMORPGs I played lost critical mass in terms of population or were shutdown, including Warhammer Online, RIFT, SWTOR, and WildStar.
I'm not interested enough in World of Warcraft nor Guild Wars 2 to pick them up again, although I have farted around with going back to WoW recently to play my Prot Pally again.

Out of curiosity, I went back to see some of my last streams from Twitch, and I dug up this gem. Yea you can still run around in tier 1 and fight. The WAR battlegrounds (scenarios) were soooo much fun. WAR was the 1st great PVP game I played.
Shame it didn't make it. And it's successor, Camelot Unchained has failed to launch over the same period of time since I last streamed. Not sure which is sadder, CU taking 8 years to develop or me not streaming for 8 years.

Anyway, I started playing SWTOR PvP back in the day because of you. Also when I set my keybindings for MMOs, to this day I have them the way you suggested in your guides back then, By eliminating the WASD and just making the WR the strafe keys and the mouse for camera. It opens up so many more keys. That was such a long time ago and I'm still watching your vids man. Keep doing what your doing. You could make some good money on Twitch though.
Man, I feel the same way. Wildstar was awesome, such a shame it farted on the starting line. They had the action combat solid, it was really a good game. I have tried them all, nothing scratches that itch. I have thought about going back to WoW multiple times but its basically the same damn game every expansion, nothing really new. We are all just stuck grinding tanks for our Russian overlords I guess.
What tank is this? LOL

I used to play SWTOR... I need to go back and finish all the class stories...
Everytime I go back I'm like 'I love this... but I want more from an MMO now...'
And then I look at the time and I've lost a week... I just don't have that kind of time RL anymore... 'F!%& did I remember to feed the kids and do work this week?'
I miss those times :) I used to watched your streams on Twitch in SWTOR and Guild Wars 2.
Warhammer online does have a pretty popular private server called return to reckoning
Ah memories... brings me back to Gamebreaker days. Loved your calm, levelheaded commentary on various shows there. Still check out Lore, Mikeb and Bogotter once in awhile for nostalgia. Throw my prime twitch sub to Bog every month just cause I'm so happy he got to make gaming a career. He came a long way.
oh and I have watched 90% of your WoT vids even though I have never played the game and have no desire to...yep.

oh man this brings back memories, when i was a teenager who played alot of swtor and loved your pvp videos, you made me main a vanguard for a while hehe. i really miss the old swtor times :(

Hey Ed, I'm playing WoW while furloughed at the moment. War Modes inclusion has baited WPvP back in the scene which is nice, but it is as unbalanced as ever and is just a gankfest really. Seldom cool unique moments fighting over pivotal points. WoW arena and BGs are still high octane quick fixes but man do I miss a good fresh new MMO. I'd love to support you to stream every once and a while again too but not a massive follower of the WoT scene. Hope you're staying safe and the family is good. Nath

Now you see me globaling this Sorceror but for some reason he manage to escape me and went back to camo. Now running towards the enemy base I need to be careful not be be spotted in the open, which
in this case I did but I managed to react in time to kill him off for good this time..."

How is Swtor doing these days? I haven't played in forever.
I've enjoyed all of your content. Especially your vanilla Rift stuff. I really miss vanilla Rift.
It was an underrated class. Kind of wish I had stuck with it after the meta shift away from tech but I was pretty burned out on it and to be honest juggernaut suited me and my solo que ways much better. I did stop by SWTOR like 2 years later and they made a change to sniper/gunslinger you would have loved. They gave them an incremental stealth detection buff that activated when you took cover and ticked up at a decent speed until it reached like 40. Stealth classes went from the hunter to the hunted in like 5 seconds. It made door duels between assassins and gunslingers an amazing contest, and snipers became the go to anchor in warzones.
I still play SWTOR too. Great game. Has gotten 1000x better recently.

I was really pissed with how the PVP gear scaled - it scaled too much and avid PVP players would faceroll casual players, who stopped queuing. WildStar made the exact same mistake.
@@taugrim I played for a long time and the expertise stat was so backwards. It really made pvp a grind for new players and gave them zero chance.
I'd love a game to go pvp only gear with no stats on it. Level playing field, based on how you play your class. Make the higher tier stuff look cooler, but give no advantage.
@@taugrim They scrapped PvP gear altogether now. Highest level is possible from crafting. Drops scale with your gear level so it takes some time to get up to the best item mods. But once you have one character up, they drop right and left and you can send them to another toon. And if you're lazy you can always buy the max level modifications on the GTN with credits for your first toon to speed it up. Doesn't take long, compared to World of Tanks.
@@jauken83 Max tier gear is easily accessible now to everybody. You don't have to play a single PvP match to get the highest tier gear anymore. PvP grind is just for flairs and visual customization! The only grind is PvE right now, and it's easy enough that anybody can do it.
@@NolePTR that sounds like a much better system. I love games where the highest tier is player crafted.
I made a MINT on pink lightsaber crystals back before the cartel store, and the recipe was a KP drop.

Yea that was an underrated class. Lots of others players played the FOTM Ironbreaker, Black Orc, or Chosen classes.
For me, wrecking faces with my Swordmaster, especially when the community thought the class sucked, was so satisfying and fun.
@@taugrim Your SM vids were the first vids I stumbled upon on. Absolutely ancient thinking about how far back that is now...
melee classes are much more my thing in PvP. I prefer ranged in PvE and melee in PvP, I'm strange that way, so Juggernaut/assassin/powertech were much more my thing in PvP. assassin use to be a beast back in the day when you could have hybrid specs. look up "Shinarika" on youtube and see some very nice Jedi Shadow/Sith Assassin game play, there were several builds that were good for different things. I use to run the 23/1/17 build on my assassin. I would run in tank stance, shielding my healer and running with dps gear, it was insanely good. but like WoW, they made speccing simpler and took away the hybrid option :( Jedi Guardian/Sith Juggernaut also had a hybrid build tyhat was insane.

YES!! Remember kids always harpoon enemy tanks into the acid pit and leg shot everyone else on the fire pits.
@@taugrim Idk if you knew this but they added a buff to kick the huttball.
Hey taugrim I'm creating my own with tomorrow and I played about 4000 games on my dads account to maintain a good wr... I was wondering if we could platoon so I can get better experience in the game than my dads 46 wr account I average around 50 on my tanks?
