Thanks for the demo. While I understand that Tim decided against having the mat be magnetic because it’s not something he uses, I wish there was a magnetic version for those of us who would prefer a magnetic glass mat. I’m not worried about anything blowing away, it’s just nice to use the magnets to hold things down while waiting for liquid glue to set. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed that he decides to release a magnetic version in the future. 😊
I’m with Tim on the magnets. But there are glass mats out there that are so you could always get one of them if you really want the magnets. I like to use acrylic stamping blocks to hold things while they dry. Just a suggestion for you!
I am looking forward to getting the white studio mat. Currently redesigning my workspace and this will fit right in. I am currently on a smaller space which is a glass topped electric standing desk and love it.
Just purchased the white one! Hoping to start making videos soon for my channel. The non-glare will be much better compared to the current black one I have.
Finally decided to buy th white one with the ruler. Although I have the black in both sizes, I would like to start making videos and appreciate the non glare glass. I am also hoping it willl be easier to see the products I am using.
Are you referring to the Black Glass Media Mat? If so they are the same size. With them both being raised up slightly I’m not sure I would want to stack them and work on the top.
@@JulianaMichaels that's what I'm wondering can I use the white travel mat on top of my LG black media mat or will it ruin my LG black glass mat? Thank you for answering my question.
That would be a question for Tim. I personally don’t want to have to keep up with the magnets. I’m always losing my tools and such so I’m sure I’d lose them too! 🤣

Thanks for doing a video on the new glass mat. I watched Tim’s, and your’s added to his information.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for sharing this new mat. Will you be doing projects with the samples you made on this video? I would love to see what you make with them.
Thanks for the suggestion, but at this time I don’t have any plans to do that. If I have some spare time I’ll see what I can do.
Very good video.
Thank you very much!

That’s wonderful! Sounds like a great space!

That’s awesome! I wouldn’t say that it’s non glare, but with the right lighting it can look great!
Thanks For the demo Juliana!
You are so welcome!
Nice demo. I really like the white. I have trouble with seeing things on black surface.
I know what you mean!

Enjoy your new mat and ruler and best of luck!
Can you set it on the LG black media mat and use it? Great video

it won’t ruin it but you’ll be raised up quite a bit from your table top.
Why did Tim not make this magnetic also?

I suggest watching his UA-cam release video - mainly he is not a fan of them
