LAKE YOJOA, HONDURAS - Travel Vlog - Lago de Yojoa

Lago de Yojoa or Lake Yojoa is the largest lake in Honduras and a beautiful gateway to many of the country's natural attractions. I visited Lake Yojoa and fell immediately for its many charms and wonderful people.
I met three locals who invited me into their businesses and their lives. I met Irina, the owner of "Ivo's Cafe", who runs a local cafe and restaurant with menu items sourced locally. Then there was Walter, from a nearby town, who offered to show me around town and takes me on a chicken bus tour. Finally, there's Fredi who took me line fishing at sunrise.
Lake Yojoa is a place off the beaten path, but with just the right amount of tourism infrastructure to get around and meet other adventurous travelers.
