    4 years old vid and still helping. I bought a commuter car (2011 sentra) and the check engine light came on a few days after i bought it, P0101 code when i scanned it. hole in the tube, can't believe i missed it before i purchased, but $35 wasn't a bad fix. I can manage most DIY jobs but your video sure saved a ton of before/after pictures and trail and error to get the end result. - Thanks man.

    Excellent! Went to the dealer for a schedule PM. He showed me that mine was cracked at the very same place. The recommendation was to replace and Nissan would do it for get this...…$365. LOL. I googled the part and found it on Amazon for $40 and this video. 10 minutes later, BAM. DONE! Final results.....Part = $40, video instruction = FREE, peace of mind=Priceless Thanks again.

    I have an 07 Sentra and it has the same piece that's cracked in the same spot but doesn't completely stall. However it does shutter when going at higher speeds or when accelerating. Could this also cause those symptoms? We've had the tires changed, suspension checked, bearings replaced and it still shimmy's and shakes.

    • @FixyourNissan
      @FixyourNissan  4 роки тому +1

      If it's cracked in the same area, it's allowing un-metered air to enter which can cause the car to shutter, bog, or Stall. So if it's cracked, like this one. The part is cheap. Replace it and see how it is after!
