This is probably the best bang for the buck in the Challenger lineup. The wider tires and new suspension make the Scatpack a more useable car. The Hellcat can be a handful in turns.

I own a Chally, but I'm dismayed with Dodge's complete disregard for updating the power packages in the bottom half of the line-up. Dismal. A decade of 375 hp for the R/T and nearly 6 years for the 6.4...…..8 years if you don't count the pathetic 10hp bump of 2015.

Mustang's and Camaro's appeal to adult's with a sheep mentality. Challenger's appeal to adult's who think for themselves.

Launch control only becomes available after you've reached the mileage required for break-in, or so I've heard. I assume that is why it did not work in this video. It's used to launch the car at a rpm that you set through the uconnect. Similar to a manual transmission, but instead of dumping the clutch, you dump the brake while having the gas floored without the need to regulate the rpm with the gas pedal
Launch Control wont even light up/activate if you don't have 500 miles on it. In this case, the car looked like it had either 5000+ or 500+ miles on it when he scanned over the gauges. I think what ended up happening was he mashed to gas too quick or too hard to initiate the launch mode. Not 100%, but that is my thought. **edit update** the car has 5912 miles on it according to the odometer.
Nice car and nice review! But two things it's not a 6.2 and no way a widebody scatpack stock is going to see 11.7quarter I think you got it confused with the much lighter one seat 1320 drag Challenger! Honest mistake!👍

You can easily incorporate done of the iconic traits of any car but the weight and large engines not everyone wants to hit the gas st6every 3-4 days. There's a reason why the Ford Mustang is the biggest selling sports car in the world, the listen to their buyers!
Dirk Diggler what you are failing to understand is the challenger is not a pony car like the camaro and the mustang, its a muscle car. It’s supposed to be big with a big engine. Dodge will eventually come out with a car to compete with the mustang and Camaro,just like they did before with the Cuda. Now the new gt500 is going to be tipping the scales at almost 4000 lbs ,i think 3800-3900 lbs., that’s not light for a car with sports car aspirations,which is what a pony car is. Where as a Porsche 911 will be coming in between 3100-3600 lbs, which is a true sports car.
