I love jims honesty.he trys to understand whats been done.knowing that it can be done but shouldent be done.he does his best not to offend a friend.
I agree this is one of those that should never be done.
It's still not too late to turn it into a cabover concept like the merc.
Yep Jim said it perfectly. 50 years of the making the best then Chad jumped in. It is going to be an interesting car. But at the speed it is going, there won't be much more on it before it gets shoved outside and something else is started on.
I’m glad that someone else see the future of this car .
As soon as the wheels can turn she's done and outside she goes .
It would be nice to see one get finished. Switch to a new one I lose interest to be honest. Love the creativity and the magic but it would certainly be nice to see a few go thru the door.…………completed

Love it when Jim is there. He always has good ideas.
There have been a few times were I've looked at what Chad was doing and said "alright where is he going with this...I'm not seeing it " and he makes me go WOW...now...I get it. I'm not feeling that so much on this one. Maybe in the end it'll happen...but at the moment I'm just not feeling it...putting such a square roof on such a voluptuous car...I'm staying glued to see what happens.
No Worries cause "the end" will never happen.. once it gets into primer it will be pushed outside as lawn art like all the others and he's on to the next one.. i'm seriously starting to wonder if he CAN paint..
I think Jimbo is going Hollywood with them glasses on🤔🤔🫣😎😎😎😎
An episode with jim in it is always a pleasure to watch thanks jim chad and Jolene
Thanks Jolene for uploading this behind the scenes with Jim , nice to hear his honest opinion & ALWAYS good for so many laughs 😂
Jimbo was attacked by crazy pheasants! What a story, I love any episode with Jim 👍😁
To be bluntly honest, the car has no simitery. In my opinion it looked better before he cut the doner roof short.
Always great when Jim is in the house!
Jim always has thoughts about Chad's projects. Jolene is great at recording things & reactions.
The car in my eyes is begging to be a convertible. If it were me doing it I would cut the body after the doors and shorten the length of the wheel base by shortening all the metal that is making the rear of the car appear too long. I think it would be super sweet. Maybe a one off copper yellow color with Teak looking interior. I think once the car is closer to the ground it would be amazing to look at. Good Luck!
Make it a convertible cut it at the body lines lift the whole top 1/2 off . Right now it looks like the car has been dragged out of the parking garage of one of the twin towers on 9/12. He can drop down the trunk keep that bubble but boat tale .
it will be PRIMER color and outside here shortly with all the others.. wait for it n see..
@@scottcochran384 yep its garage art not custom car. Those belong on the road. Garage art belongs yep you guessed it in a garage.
Yah Jim is right…I agree he was nicely saying the roof idea sucks…totally not for a big bulky car
Jimbo will tell you what is on his mind . Great to see Jim in the shop . I think the car is very different from what you see every day and that's not a bad thing . Keep up the good work .
What I like most about your builds is when you do the unexpected. Custom builds show your creativity and challenge you.
Always a good time with Jim.
Jim got some new shades 😎.
I don't get this one I love the hotwheel car he made , I would look for a 40s roof with rounded curves and make it into more a coup not this 70s roof the style is not same as the car
You would, but he wouldn't-or didn't- and that's his call. It got people talking, debating. Everyone has an opinion on it
The ‘coup look ‘is ever green fashionable as it’s aerodynamic and sexy , but this build is a fat lady in a nice dress and we Won’t get to see her belly button . It could be a good thing .
@@BearBudgetgarage and some throw their hands up and walk away, talent skill and drive are great, but not worth a lot a solid concept of design. Coming up with ideas is easy, carrying to compleation is where the rubber meets the road.
"i love the curve back here" Jim diplomacy at its finest
Public service announcement from Jim. “If you vape in bed don’t tilt it upward. It will drip in your mouth”. Awesome dude.
Jimbo always comes out with a couple of cracking yarns!
Always great to see Jim and hear his words of wisdom
I enjoy it when you have Jim on the show
Jim is exactly right, the roof no longer dominates the look of the car ... very unique / original
That was the kindest way he could say the roof looks like crap. Good job Jim.
Hmmm...I always see tons of projects but nothing getting completed.!! Jolenes car...the Ford turned jnto a Bugattii..
Nine months to receive a new car, it took me fourteen weeks to get one part for my 67 Camaro. He’s trying to keep the ball rolling, getting parts to Nova Scotia doesn’t happen overnight.
I like jumbo, he tried to be polite .but still says what he’s thinking , glad he’s cutting down on the rolling tobacco as it’s no good for you so good luck to him with it, 👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧Manchester England 🇬🇧
Even blind Jim thinks it's horrible, but he's to polite to say so
Maybe it’s because the car was a work of art from the Factory !
Jim's got the best stories.
I totally agree with Jim's view he is saying what I was thinking! ;-)
When Jim is on air I could comment all day. He is a true friend, offers his opinions with only good intentions.
I like the idea of making it into a coup but not sure if you have chosen the right roof for it as the main body is quite deep on that model
Quite deep. Looks like a chicken head mounted in a eagle. But we will see what he can do with it. Always room for success.
Jim is always fun to watch
I see you are getting it all buttoned up Bad Chad. Keep up the great work. Glad to see Jim stopped by.
Jim is exactly right ! Hey Jim ! Have Chad take a couple of drags so maybe he can get his brain back to perspective.. !
I agree with Jim. The roof needs something :-;.
Wish Chad had a fastback roof that would compliment the raised curve design on the sides of the Jag. Thinking Series 62 Caddy from ‘49…stunning fastback.
Agree... Even just fastback sides, no roof, running to back of rumble seat.... But hey i am just a backseat designer haha. Fascinating.
Jim talks like a true artist. "the best has already been made", so where do you go from there?
Well, maybe not THERE... :-)
Always good with Jim .
I am glad Jim is saving money and his lungs. I will miss watching him roll his own, but I can always watch some classic Jim on The Bad Chad channel.
I love that car other than the top. Chad's gonna do what Chad is gonna do.
Ol' Slim Jim attacked by 2 pheasants was hilarious.
Changing from cigarettes to the vape was a great idea for Jim. He looks healthier already.
Si hay alguien que puede dar una opinion certera y con buen criterio..ese es sin dudas JIM..amo este sujeto sus apreciaciones son muy desopilantes y siempre tiene una anegdota simpatica que agregar....
Brilliant commentary...go Jim
Jim has a great sense of humor and he is knowledgeable
nice to see jim in the shop
Great to see Jimbo, glad those birds didn’t get hurt, thank goodness he’s a excellent driver with amazing reflexes. Miss Jimbo rolling those cigarettes every two minutes reaching into his jacket pocket grabbing that mashed up bag of tobacco. Love you guys !!
Howdy, never mean to take the camera work for granted, Jolene does as good a job as anybody in the business
I think I seen this concept car in a cartoon , can’t remember what cartoon it was. Very interesting chop.😊
great to see Jim again, he is very entertaining, loving the build it think it looks good
got to love when jim is around ..the car is looking great
Good evening Jim Chad and jolene your moving real fast on this build looking gd
I like it when you guys talk freely about things makes it seem more real always be your self
Rock on Chad
Can't wait to hear what Jim has to say.
Take that thing and get a artist to wrap it then hang a mailbox on it...keep trudging along
The car resembles a broad shouldered guy with a tiny head 😀
Almost killing two birds with one Ferrari.
Jimbo is in the house thanks
I'm with Jim not sure what i think ,sometimes just because you can does not mean you should, however as you say if you really like it that's all hat matter's.
Great to Jim and get his take on what is going on with this build
Hello Jim buddy. How yha doing? Ihope you are enjoying the nice summer weather. great job cleaning that rust up on this project Chad.
try cutting port window (circular) into the support in front of the roof. would take some of the focus off that large plate . ??
Bad Chad add a Jimbo style hat to the merchandise
Jim is awesome!
Jim is good with the stories - 2 pheasants attached me - love it :)
Pretty cool with Jim in the garage..gave his opinion of the car...It is lookin better...thats what I like about Chad's builds...different...thats fun...cya tomorrow guys...and camera queen jolene
Put a bill above the front windshield👍
I'm with Jim. That roofline could be better
Loved the show when you were at jimbos all happy and funny, showed the knowledge jimbo has, and a better understanding of what he has done with his life.
It's an awesome concept. Thanks for sharing.
Jim is a Canadian national treasure. For what it's worth I love Nova Scotia romped all over that area 40 yrs ago, miss it been all around the world and would settle there if it weren't for the winters.
Jim is a colorful gent. He's desperately trying not to offend Chad, and won't say it => but he still doesn't like the Roof!
So here’s my thoughts, when you had the full square top on it it looked like crap, and you figured out that it just wasn’t right so then you shorted the roof , filled in for a rumble seat and kinda tried to blend in the sides of the roof to match it to be a 2 door , and then came “Jim” ! And I’m not sure what he’s got in that vaper , but the truth is it still looks like crap ! So here’s a suggestion or an opinion, ya ya I know everybody’s got one just like butt holes , cut the top off put a leaned back speedster windshield on it , still keep the rumble seat and make it an open cockpit speedster kinda like a 36 boat tail Auburn except it’s a jag ! Going topless ! 👍🏼
Going to be interesting this episode. Probably a 3 pouch dipper on this one. I am impressed with what he made from this lemon. No other one like it that's for sure.
I always wonder how many Jimbo is gonna roll during each episode.
Reminds me of the old Dick Tracy cars.
It's good when you have your friends there to get there views on a build especially like Jim who says it as he sees it lol.keep up the great work all of you 👍 👏
The roof is not proportionate right with the big body, its to small. Jim is trying to tell you in a polite way the same thing.
Chad it’s always good to see jimbo in the house 👍
Lets see if Jim is as insightful as everyone here thinks and says Chad should have sourced a better fitting roof from the start.
Jim has to think like you to be insightful?
Great too See Jim Chad and Jolene and Aden It’s really looking Good
It just doesn’t flow to me ! But awesome metal work
Nice to see Jim again be intresting to hear his views
As the roof got shorter, I liked it less. As Chad started the tin work on the door/ window area I was, nope, na, well, maybe. And in typical Chad fashion. He takes something that a NORMAL person would say start over or" man I messed that up. And keeps movin' forward. Soon enough, I kinda like it. It reminds me of an armored car/ security vehicle. I can't wait to see where it goes. I think our Chadster has sheet metal on the brain. He.also has a great right hand man/ gal to bounce ideas off of. I love to watch these guys work. There's not a piece of tin out there that will get the best of those two. And their helpers. Aiden and abetting is gonna be something else in time, I can't wait to see that. Keep up the content, awesome work
Jim tells it like he see's it, honest and respectful at the same time. Great crew in this shop.
Love watching. Thanks for the hard work you two
It should be a convertible “ Cut the roof off!” Doesn’t look right with that small roof on it. It would be awesome with no roof!!
When i saw it the first time with the square roof i thought nah . Now is great .Shows thinking outside the box beautiful Chad. cheers from Australia.
Jim is saying it the nicest way possible because I would tell you right away, wth are you doing...
JIMBO HAS ANSWER'S FOR EVERYTHING!....
Think sectioning it would help the body and roof look more proportionate .
Most people can’t design a car and will admit it, but they can react to what they see in a visceral way. They either like it, or they don’t. Simple as that.
The jury is out on this one so far. Seems to be more negative comments than usual this time, but that’s fine. Controversy is good. My guess is it’s a matter of oddball proportions. But who knows? Chad may wow us all!
I think it would look nice upper down to the sloop of the door black , lower silver ,just my thought
Love to see this man work & what end result Wow
I like the way you do the short strand, goes on like warm butter.
‘Ratify‘ , good name for this build Jim !
Jim knows he's among friends, so he can clearly speak his mind. I like em both.
love the way the roof sets.makes it look like it's going fast while standing still. super concept.
Be careful with those vapes Jim 🙏🏻
I appreciate your work My opinion me being a custom car builder that roof is way to small for the rear of the car is way to long it’s just my opinion your work is great
Jimmy! Great to see you dude. I'll be up at the end of the month. I'm going to try to stop in for a visit if you're home.
