I am so glad that I watched this Teamoy bag video- I'm super happy with my purchase & I got it in a blue jean color. I crochet everyday (3-5 WIPS always) and needed this to carry around the house with me. Even Furls crochet hooks fit in the loop holes- FABULOUS! Thank you so much!
I love most things on this bag. I've never been a fan of grommet's though. I don't like having a project that can only be taken away from a bag by cutting the yarn. I do like this bag, and would use it without threading the yarn through the grommet's. Thanks for the informative review!
Yes, this is a great bag! I have the the same but with mine also has a lid to completely close the top. I wanted that for when I am traveling with my work. The model shown here allows for rain and snow, etc to get to your yarn or work if you are carrying outside in anything but good weather.

The link to my purchase shows they don't have the same model now, however, I did find one that although it's not the same color (mine was black with white polkadots) it appears to be the same. Hope this helps. Having the covered lid keeps the yarn and project from any chance of getting wet while transporting it. The model shown in this video wouldn't be very useful if you take your projects outside, unless you live where there is no chance of rain or snow. There are other sellers with the same, so shop around a bit.

Yes, I would suggest getting the one with the full lid unless you only plan to use indoors and away from pets
I have a project tote that has grommets for feeding 6 separate strands of yarn for multicolored or multistranded projects, but not most of the other features this bag has. Adding this to my Amazon wish list!

Instead of using the Velcro to secure the yarn on top you could use a binder clip or one of those thin hair clips that spring back on themselves. The ones that are sort of a long triangle with the rounded bottom, I often use them to hold the ends of my wound cakes.

Just wondering can you fit knitting needles in the hook part
It depends on what size knitting needles you are going to use. If they are average size (5.00 mm), then they probably would not fit as they would be too thin. But, if they were thicker, then they might be more snug in the elastic crochet hook part. :)

what's the little red bag you use for your crochet hooks called and where could i buy one?
Thanks for the review. I actually received a smaller Teamoy by delivery today to hold all of my crochet hooks! It holds 20+ hooks plus has room for other small items. Like the large bag that you reviewed, it also seems very sturdy.
