LOL at 12:10 when you were talking about the attacking reaction from humans i played in a team chess Tournament recently tought a 1100 the stonewall for white 5-10 min before his math vs a 2000, He played rf3 and his oppenent started to breath so load i could hear it from my board and he started visibly stressing and breathing just found it a funny coincidence it from the same move Rf3/Rf6

Hey Big Mio, thank you for this great lecture! Always nice to learn some new ideas. The finish was beautiful - I found it pretty fast.

I see a lot of players with the white pieces refuse to go into a Catalan position when I play the Stonewall. Most games also feature white playing Bf4 before I can play Bd6, so I either need to play Be7 or just trade it off. It’s always something slightly different, which makes this opening hard to use effectively.

Im a catalan player myself too.against slav and dutch stonwall i play g3 anyways and follow up with b3 ,ba3 line which is nice for white exchanging black dark square bishop.and put the knights on f3 and d3 to jump into e5.

I knew that cambination but not the game. Really impressive. Also like the inmortal game from Najdorf in this stone wall structure

three minutes in and loving this!! i usually go for the stonewall beginning with f5, but hate having to deal with Bg5 after Nf6 😅
being a french player too, i’ll definitely try out 1…e6

Hi Mio! Thanks for the Dutch! I am one of people who asked you about Stonewall. But, in last time i changed my mind about Stonewall. I don't know that i am right, but it seems to me that all type of Dutch a litle bit are brake down. I was watching Sedlaks games in Stonewall and in last time he can't win much low rating players then he is with Stonewall. As far as i can see, white players often plays black bishop on f4 to neutralize powerful black bishop. This is one of mutch respones, for my opinion. And in mean time, queen's side always remains weak and has great potential for white. But, big thanks for video!
Yes, and one question for you. Why much big players avoid to play Dutch in this time?
    Regards from Tivat! :)

Its complicated but always double edged, they are happier with some calmer positions

Sehr schöne Partie mit vielen taktischen Motiven. Aber könnte man nicht nach Df7 g5 durch h4 verhindern? Ich vermute, dass danach durch f4 der schwarze Angriff weiter läuft?

I don't understand why you and Ginger GM both say that d4 players won't play the French. Maybe at the titled level that might be true, but not at the club level. LOTS of people will see the opportunity to play both d4 and e4 together as irresistible. Actually, that's why I've tried the Dutch off and on, because I want to give my opponent the opportunity to go into the French, where I'm more comfortable.

Could even start with c6 to bait them into a Caro-Kann. I’ve been playing the Stonewall out of the Slav for a while. The Stonewall, Slav, Semi-Slav, Reverse London, Caro-Kann, and French defenses are all very complimentary.

Hello miodrag, as a respected chess coach, (the best chess UA-cam channel in my opinion) please give me your advice - I used to be a big Benoni player, learned all the lines, but this opening is facing some “difficulties” in some variations, would you still consider it to be not just playable, but a legitimate opening to be main weapon as black? Please let me know

What is your rating Fide, Chesscom and Lichess?

@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial I just started playing OTB chess after 4 years of playing only online. Right now national is 2080 and FIDE 2000. Lichess blitz is 2500-2550and chesscom blitz is 2450-2500 (I believe it’s equilivant to 2200 FIDE, it’s just a matter of time)
The Benoni has a sacred place in my heart- true fighting opening, the term “Benoni” comes from the Hebrew language (Ben-son, Oni- my sorrow), Rachel, one of the three mothers died when giving birth to her son, whom she named- Benoni. Later, the father Jacob, changed the child’s name to Benjamin.
I hope this massage if finally sent because the last one seemed to dissapear 😅.
