    VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
In this video, I have covered the main ideas behind the Stonewall Attack and what to do exactly if Black tries to avoid your Stonewall setup. For those who want to keep opening theory to the minimum, you are unlikely to find a better chess system than the Stonewall Attack. The Stonewall Attack is a chess system where white seeks to quickly put their central pawns on dark squares, maintaining a firm grip over the e5 square. The first KaspaChess video I have seen, you have a new grateful fan ! During that corona isolation I started playing chess again ( after some 25 years), very uncertain about myself, now 64 years old. Proved to be wrong what is said about " an old dog doesn´t learn any new tricks ", So happy with my new main " hobby", also met nice people sharing my interest, I´m living alone and retired from work.

Great vid. I found these alternatives extremely useful. Would love some more of these for the Stonewall. I recently started playing it but I am finding more often than not it doesn't usually go to plan like in the videos on youtube. Thanks for the video .

i am getting around to play it......people who dont use this are completely baffled but those who do can find the weak spots n exploit it.

Why don’t you create a full-fledged course on the stonewall attack/defense?

Really like this Stonewall approach. Dare I ask for a 3rd lesson that covers your approach to 2…..Bf5 AND a line where black plays 1….d5: 2….e6 3…..Nc6 which allows them to potentially set up there own Stonewall? Thanks in advance for your consideration…..

    Greetings Kaspachess.
I been watching Aman Hambletons STONEWALL ratings climb and i think its a beautiful opening. but his openings arent perfect as he doesnt move the bishop into place on third move as its supposed to be played.
Can you do a ratings climb with white and black using stonewall only. It would make for great content and an excellent tutorial for all of us. The knight planted on e5 square is beautiful and majestic to look at. Like a mighty fire breathing dragon and the pawns on d4 n f4 make it look like a portal to another dimension.
    Keep the stonewall videos coming.
Also do a caro kann rating climb please.
What do u think of the hippo set up? Was watching Eric Hansens rating climb and i thought it was a solid opening but the stonewall is solid and feirce.
and Eric had some gay dancing guy in the videos, ruining the experience of it all and showing disrespect to the viewers and the game itself.
    Cheers.
    Billy,

There is no such thing as a STONE WALL DEFENSE IN CHESS, sooner or later a really good player will figure your ideas out from just seeing or playing against you in the long term. I know this from playing chess in High School and playing online. This I am sure of without really thinking about it.

Kaspa how do you feel about colle-zukertort system? Vs the Stonewall or London?

    • @kaspachessofficial
      @kaspachessofficial  Рік тому

I feel the Colle system is more stable and reliable than the Stonewall Attack at advanced level.

@@kaspachessofficial I appreciate the rapid feedback. Definitely will study it more thanks. I’m going to also try the Vienna for me e4 with white.
Black I’m thinking Pirc as Gurfeld I having seen a variation yet
