So happy you’re checking out beautiful Victoria. Loved that you two visited Vancouver and now enjoying Victoria. You might want to think about Tofino during storm season and of course whale watching. There’s a lot of natural beauty in BC. 😊🇨🇦
Thanks Janet! Yup victoria was great
Beautiful city and yummy food. This city has been on my list for a while.
It really is!
If you drive to Sooke, about an hour outside of Victoria down Sooke Road, there's a place called Wild Mountain that has phenomenal food. They're only open Wednesday to Sunday from 4 pm until late, but it's well worth the trip. All organic food with a fantastic view. They have the single best wood fire oven pizza you'll find on the Island and their menu actually changes regularly. I go nearly every week and always find something different to try. Their tenderloin steak last weekend was excellent and yesterday I had some incredible morel mushrooms stuffed with lemon ricotta - and their strawberry shortcake was amazing. Definitely worth the drive.
Thanks for the rec chris
You guys should visit east Vancouver, that part side of city have the best food has to offer, thanks!
Maybe one day! Thanks Ken!
Beautiful city 😍
One interesting thing About Victoria it gets the less rain of any place in what the Americans call the Pacific Northwest including Vancouver and Seattle , Due to being in a Rain Shadow from the Olympic mountains of Washington State , It’s classified as a Sub Mediterranean zone with only an average of 23 inches of rain a year compared to Seattles 39.34 inches and Vancouvers 57 .3 inches a year
Thanks for the info
Glad you enjoyed Victoria! I live, and was born and raised in Victoria, so I was trying to spot people I know in your video, and I found one! The keyboard player in Pagliacci's is one of my clients; I just did some work for him a couple of days ago!
We can catch Shrimp right off the dock at Fisherman’s W
Woo
I’m litterally born and raised in Victoria and I’m watching this video
Yee
Looks like a nice city. I was born in The North east of USA, and I've never been to Canada. Almost went to Montreal. All the food looked good especially the Seafood. Say Hi Leah. Happy Easter!
Very cool! Thanks Alex!
In Nubo, those sushi were huge! Or are they the normal size? Sushi I've eaten are no where that big.
Love visiting there from Seattle. We have a clipper that leaves from the waterfront that takes you right into the bay in Victoria. It’s a cute town and they have an awesome gardens just outside of town. Butchart Gardens. You gotta check it out anytime but winter.
Butchart Gardens is particularly popular at Christmas.
Victoria was for me the best way of experiencing the province of British Columbia for the first time. Awesome city! I would love to live there. But the rent is definitely a major setback to consider.
Victoria was great!
Welcome to my home town lol. I live a block away lol. Thank you for stopping by :)

Well said yum
Welcome to my home town! Enjoy!
Thank you! Will do!
Pagliaccis is a favourite spot for us as well as many. But you cannot get a reservation. Walk up only. It’s considered New York Jewish rather than Italian. Great brunches too !
Thanks for the info
That's so awesome that you made it to Victoria! It's hands-down, my *FAVORITE* city in Canada! 🍁
So cool! Thanks Pat!
Wow what a nice city

4:44 Us locals call it Pags and it’s the best!!!
Nice!
Next time you guys come to Victoria, hit me up. Nubo isn't even the best Japanese food. It's Chinese owned as well. Sen Zushi is the place to go for authentic Japanese food!
Glad you enjoyed, and even though Nubo isn't my taste, glad you enjoyed it too!
Thanks for the rec! Will do
Thanks @warlordmegatron !!! Had Nubo Tapas last night. It was so so. In reality, it was quite ok, there was nothing wrong with it... Had Sen Zushi tonight!!! OMG!!! Best meal of our trip by far! Had grilled fish, soba, tempura, and yakinuri. Everything was amazing! I mean, licking the plates clean. Will go back soon.
@@cd7856 no problem! Glad you enjoyed it enough to lick dem plates 😜🍽️! Now try Arashi Ramen. Best ramen in town. Tastes just like ramen I'd have in Japan. Which is where I am now, haha. I'll be back in Vic soon though sadly.
Victoria is nice
❤
1:44 took some balls to say that in front of your women.
Lol
