The sequel has a very hot Janet Jackson, which makes it watchable already. I lost interest in Jada after the round table talk and how she screwed over Will. I don't condone his behaviour, though. That was ridiculous and criminal assault. But I was done with her after she humiliated him on live TV. Imagine if a guy did that to a girl? He'd rightfully be ostracized by society, especially today. Cheating on someone and then trying to make it their fault by humiliating them? Saying they're not good in bed anymore? He's Will Smith. Women (and some dudes) would have loved to have been with him. He was a ladies man and an Oscar winner. Wow. But this is great stuff. I still prefer the original with Jerry Lewis, but Eddie pulls off both personas very well.

This was Eddie Murphy 's comeback after 5 years of box-office flops. I much this was so much fun to watch with a crowded theater. The audience was erupting with laughter during the Dave Chappelle moments. If you guys haven't done Vampire In Brooklyn yet, that's one I recommend. It's a horror comedy vampire flick that Wes Craven directed. Underrated Murphy film, in my opinion.

It's extremely funny but also a really informative look into the history of black comedy cinema, as well as just really enjoyable since it's extremely accurate to real events. And Eddie Murphy gives a really heartfelt performance, most likely because Rudy Ray Moore was someone he respected and knew as a young comedian in the 80s.

I used to weigh over 400lbs. It is never ok to even hint to someone that being obese, especially morbidly obese, is fine. The amount of health problems you will inevitably end up with will result in you having to completely pause your life, leaving you with next to nothing if you do not correct it.
I have a protruding disc and a herniated disc that was pressing on nerves on both sides of my spine causing extreme pain in my spine and legs and caused near complete numbness down my legs, simply because I was too fat. It was not possible for me to lose the weight on my own, it was not possible for me to exercise because I couldn't hardly move without pain and a diet change barely did much of anything, so I had to have Gastric Sleeve surgery. Never wanted to have surgery to lose weight but I was out of options. I'm down roughly 100lbs, I weigh about 320 now, but the damage may already be permanent. I was playing with my dog about a week ago and I barely bumped into the counter in the kitchen and it sent instant sharp shocks through my spine and I was feeling that pain for hours. If something as small as barely bumping my side causes that much pain, my life is going to be very restricted going forward.
When I started losing the weight, I was very much looking forward to being able to do shit that I used to love doing again, hiking, roller coasters, golf, etc., or things that I've always wanted to do but hadn't gotten around to doing, white water rafting, skydiving, skiing/snowboarding, etc., but I don't see any of it being possible at his point.
I keep seeing more and more morbidly obese women as models and it disgusts me. This whole "body positivity" thing that's going on right now didn't exist when I was younger, as far as I know, so I was never fooled by it, but it is absolutely contributing to how overweight people are becoming these days (here in the US at least). Being overweight due to a medical condition is one thing, an extremely rare thing, and being fat from laziness and/or overeating is something else entirely. Propping up fat people, especially women, and calling them beautiful and/or healthy is doing nothing but hurting people and it needs to stop.

You bros might enjoy the movie Bowfinger. Eddie Murphy and and includes a movie title within the story Curtis might enjoy… keep chugging through the cinema!

One movie where an actor plays multiple roles is Richard Pryor in "Which Way Is Up?" He plays a sex-starved, unionized employee, his father who gets action than him, and a sanctimonious, womanizing minister. It's a comedy classic. Then there's "Dr. Strangelove: or how to stop worrying, and love the bomb!", A satirical, but scary cold war-era black comedy film with the late Peter Sellers playing three roles, including the title role.

22:00 I love how the only one who isnt Eddie Murphy is the kid... Cause they couldn't use CGI Face swap back then easily.

I may have missed it but did you recognize that all Klump parts were played by Eddy? He was Not only The Professor and Buddy but his mother, father, Grandma, etc. etc. too. Except the child.

That is Eddie Murphy. And you guys better put some respect on him. Eddie Murphy is a goat and a legend. That Dean is such a nut and such an unusual person. Sherman is such a nice man and he has a good heart and a cool person.

Let's be honest... the Oscar slap wasn't about Dave making a GI Jane joke about Jada. It was just all those years of pent up rage and frustration Will had after Reggie roasted Sherman.
That moment, that second...it all csme back and Will channeled his inner Sherman and bitch slapped Reggie.

This movie was a remake of “The Nutty Professor” from 1963, starring Jerry Lewis-
Which was a comedic retelling of “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde”
