I've watched a hundred discord advice videos and yours are by far the best. I don't feel like i have to be super tech to understand what your saying. Lol and how many members did you get from what he just said because you can't get members by doing events and selling yourself alone. You need to advertise your server which he didn't go into full detail of.
First, This is exactly what I needed. My server of 7k members got deleted and I created a new sever and it has 272 members now

I use Disboard for my server. It is just a chat server but serves a very specific group of people. Since there are not a lot of servers like mine, Disboard works well. Honestly though, word of mouth works the best! Just invite and encourage others to invite. If the server is active, your members will bring in others for you.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Disboard! I've never personally used it so I never knew if it actually translated to members or not.

Update, Disboard is terrible, your server won't be approved since the owner of Disboard moved from English Servers after he got in trouble for letting servers with cp advertise their servers so he moved to Japanese servers.

Great video! Are there any bots that help you grow your Discord server, or do you have to do this yourself?
I have a community server which I made for a YT channel. The creator reacts to Kpop, Anime and K drama and stuffs. So I have made a channel where few members updates news about KPOP. So the issue is that, the messages they sent doesnt look neat. It kinda piles up and cant understand where the next news is starting at. Is there any way to make messages look neat, and have spaces in between the pictures and messages?
For my discord server I said it’s for humans to mess with bots and meet other humans we are looking for active members and chill ones and I got 5 more people :) (disbored did help)

My server kinda faded down and now its pretty inactive. Trying really hard to get engagements again. Disboard isn't always a sure method to growing a server unfortunately
Disboard doesn't work right anymore multiple people (including me) have had their server under review for months to a year and there's nothing you can do

There wasn't really a process before tbh I was watching your video hoping to find a way around it maybe you can do some research or make a video suggesting a lot of good alternatives for your server

I put my server on disboard and its been weeks and saying your request is been reviewed
