- If you're a fellow distracted cleaner who can't do Sunday Resets or whole house cleans, then allow me to introduce you to micro cleans 🧼. I personally struggle to do big cleans 😅. I get overwhelmed and distracted whenever I attempt them, so to create more realistic cleaning habits I've started doing "micro cleans". This routine helps me maintain my home throughout the week so that minimal cleaning is left on Sunday (and maximum time is left for being a potato 🥔). I am shocked so many people in the comments section use two laundry bins 😱I've never even heard about this concept! 😂 One is definitely sufficient enough... and sometimes I just carry it in my hands 💪🏻
I love the idea of having a "micro cleaning" routine. I'm the same way as you; I love the idea of having a clean and organized home in theory, but in reality I find cleaning to be way too time-consuming and impossible to keep up with. This seems like a great system of building cleaning into your daily routine instead of trying to tackle an overwhelming amount of it at once.
I’ve only been doing it for about a month but it seems to really be working well for me so far so I’d definitely suggest giving it a shot!!
We have two bathrooms, one does not have a tp holder, just a basket for hygiene stuff and the other has a slide-on tp holder, like you put it on a stick. Our struggle is getting rid of the hard paper roll left after you finish the toilet paper. I will have to disagree with the laundry hamper. I have a laundry hamper for the dirty clothes and a laundry basket for the clean clothes, basic laundry math. Micro cleaning sounds like a really intriguing concept I have already gotten your cleaning schedule for notion and cannot wait to try it out!

I totally have 2 laundry bins! One for clean and one for dirty!
About the makeup brushes! I swirl them around in the palm of my hand/fingers. I find it gets the makeup out a lot more and it’s a gentle way to do it. When drying them I also put them on a towel like you but i usually roll up one end of the towel so that the brushes can dry on an angle (bristells downward). It helps the water run downward so that it doesn’t screw up the glue that holds it all together😊 Thanks for a great video, loved this🙌🏼
I use 2 separate bins for my laundry, my whole family does this and none of my friends have ever thought it was a weird thing to do. I think it’s weird to only have one, not because it’s unsanitary but because I procrastinate and I do put off folding laundry. So I like to have a bin for clean and a bin for dirty 😂

There are tp holders that are just an arm, so changing the roll is just slide-on, slide-off. Maybe if easy, not so insurmountable?
Podcasts/audiobooks/music depending on your preference really make the cleaning time fly! Highly recommend to de-pain the necessary evil.
My 2 cents:
- For brushes, pre-soak the foundation and other cream product ones in white vinegar for 5-10 minutes beforehand; really loosens that sticky stuff for an easier clean.
- I kind of agree with your partner about the hampers. Maybe just give it a spritz while the wash is going on with your usual antibacterial spray and give it a quick wipedown!

p.s. For the brushes, soak just the tip of the bristles (a quarter/half inch), so as not to loosen the glue where they’re joined to the handle.
I use two laundry bins! My boyfriend works outdoors so his clothes get pretty grimey.
I've always wanted to buy who gives a crap. One cute idea I've seen is saving the colorful paper for gift wrap too!

As an ADHD girlie, this really resonated. 🫡 My partner & I also use a basket system for clothes that are worn but not dirty.
