I wonder if Netflix is in fact damaging US Cultural Hegemony since a Netflix film is now the modern equivalent of a telemovie. If a Happy Gilmore sequel cant make money at the box office then there is no value in making it. Same goes for a modern Beverly Hills Cop movie. Making garbage telemovie reboots for Netflix that nobody cares about only lessens the value that the original franchises - and its these original well loved franchises that form the foundation of US cultural hegemony. Its like how we all hate Star Wars now. They cant make another film because nobody will watch it - it has now been reduced to streaming service shows like The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew who are only watched by a minority of teenagers with mental health problems. You gotta ask yourself - are these Star Wars streaming shows helping in any way? Or are they the final nails in the Disney Star Wars coffin. If there was any value left in Happy Gilmore and Beverly Hills Cop it will be destroyed by the Netflix telemovies. Netflix is a punchline. Netflix movies are telemovies.
Hollywood is dead. No new ideas.
30 years?!?!? Say it isn't so!
Maybe they can bring out Spaceballs 2 the search for more money
That's hilarious!! 😂
Oh no. How is Netflix gonna wokeify and ruin this?
It will prob be less provocative and racy. But I’m sure it will be great. Anything Adam Sandler does it good.
@@AnnRamiez And Rob Schneider he's great as well 👍
@@Psittacine-pp5yd that whole clang is amazing. But nothing tops waterboy and Little Nicky 😆🤣
@@AnnRamiez 😂
Hollyweird has officially run out of ideas
Sorry, but without Carl Weathers playing Chubbs, this movie will flop.
He’s older than me and he says he was too young at the time to get the jokes??! I was 21! How could he not get the humour?
I'm going to watch it just to see how bad it will be, pirated of course.
Woke Gilmore
Some of the greatest composer's ever🎉
Dumbest idea ever
On Netflix? How sad.
