For babies you can buy special headphone so they won't hear a thing and stay calm . My cousin uses them for her toddler when they're traveling
This vlog really shows the truth about parenting (joy and exhaustion) - and the lengths you go to to get baby to sleep! Liquid ibuprofen was the only thing that helped with teething pain for my twins. Teething gel or paracetamol didn’t help for them.

Usually celebrities take to their social media (IG in particular) and post pictures or stories that are absolutely unreletable, so you are misled to think that being a parent to a newborn or a baby is all fun and games. It's not.
Romee's skin is even more gorgeous than before the baby! How is this humanly possible? Wow!
For the teething problem, my mum used to freeze my sister's baby food in popsicle molds to cool and soothe their growing teeth. Hope this helps!
remember to try to take a nap when she does! even if it is just an hour ! It will refresh you. her sleeping schedule will even out more as she gets older!

Hi Romee. When my children (they are 11 and 7 now) had teeth, we used gel for gums, it helped to fall asleep. Do not remember the name of it, I’m from Ukraine, in Netherlands you may have different assortment. But during night kids were crying sometimes and I was dreaming about at least 7 hours of sleep. You and Lorens are great parents, you manage to travel with a little kid. Children grow fast, in a year, or may be even earlier your nights will be calm.

We used special gel when our kid had first teeth, i put it on her gums. It cools gums and helps to reduce pain. There are different brands. You can try it. And also doctor advised us Viburcol Baby suppositories. It is homeopathic. Hope it will help Mint! Kisses to her.

For teething babies ~ sometimes a little baby motrin before bedtime helps ease their pain enough for them to get to sleep. Not something that should be over-done, but certainly helps when you need it.

Lovely vlog Romee, and Mint is such a sweetheart, so cute!. I normally like to read the comments and it blows my mind the nerve of some people commenting and giving unsolicited advice on your daughter’s earrings, where to go for a swim or the type of content you decide to post…. Unbelievable
My advice regarding sleep. The 4 month sleep regression is THE major sleep change, "fourth semester" is now over. 1- Frow now on you have to teach your baby how to sleep, just like you'd teach them how to walk, talk, potty train, etc. Treat it as such. Read about it, choose a method you like and works for your family but really work at it, don't expect it to just happen or suffer through it. You'll be so glad, for you AND your baby. 2- Look into swaddling, even if your baby doesn't seem to like it at first, it is really good to make them feel safe and calm. There's a reason it has existed for centuries everywhere around the globe. It's a life-saver for most parents. 3- In time, start looking into sleep schedule/charts. 4- Relax, you are doing well. The first year or two are chaotic for most of us. You think you're not making progress but you are, you'll only realise it looking back. Mint is adorable. ♡

Teething rings you put them in the freezer and she can chew on it. It’s always nice to have more than one so you can always have on frozen. Also a cold wash cloth she can chew on. ❤️🙏🏼

thank you so much for this realistic snapshot of how travelling and life with a baby is. Expectation vs reality - getting them to sleep in the car/stroller etc so you can have your nice meal at the restaurant in peace - baby is like - HAHA not going to happen, screw sleeping, I rather stay up and one of the parents has to walk around to entertain the over-tired grumpy baby while the other parent eats alone. There are babies who are super great sleepers and there are babies which are just not and then your life is basically all about helping your baby falling asleep. Been there done that, and it was soooo hard. The only thing that somehow helps with teething is breastfeeding and baby appropriate pain killers. Our daughter only started to sleep when she was around 18 m old.

I like the teething rings that have water enclosed inside of them that you put in the freezer. She can suck on and “chew” on the frozen ring and it kind of numbs the gums while being baby safe!

Teething pain is just for a couple days. If there is a fever - some baby Tylenol will help, teething ring or cool food pieces to help with the gums. No gels of any kind.
As for the sleeping, bad night sleep and early wake ups are usually a result of not enough awake time in the afternoon and late bed time. Work on the regime. She needs 3-4 naps in the afternoon, perfect wake up time is 6-7 a.m, bed time shouldn’t be later than 7-7:30 p.m. Ideal time to fall asleep is 5-15 minutes, if less - that means she is overtired and you need to reduce previous awake time, if more - add more time to the awake time. Add or reduce by 10-15 minutes once every 3 days, that way you will be able to build a perfect schedule
What a lovely vacation, so sorry you had to struggle with the baby, that's tough, I remember those times. I can say anything cool on the gums helps, some teethers for the mouth with the gel and you can put them in the refrigerator or freezer, or a wet wash cloth put in the freezer for her to chew. You can make popsicles of her favorite fruit. Also be careful with certain textures of food although she is probably still getting very finely ground food. Good luck, it's so hard to watch them have such discomfort & also very tiring for the parents.

That lack of sleep is brutal. When she said ,'when will we fall down because of tiredness 😩? It just brought back memories 🤦🏾♀️.

For teething get her a gel ring that you can freeze and she can gnaw on it to soothe the pain. You could also ask your pediatrician if you can give her a bit of acetaminophen for pain. Do you have baby oragel there? It used to work wonders in my kids (also kept it on the fridge so it was cold when I used it on their gums). Mint is so cute!
Necklace of Amber!! All of my nieces have necklaces made from the amber stone because apparently it helps children about tooth issues. Some mysterious stuff but definitely works, you will be as shocked as I was!!!

Baby safe pain killer for the teething and you need to sleep when Mint sleeps. Young babies and teenagers are the worst ages the rest is easy.
But at least when they're teenagers they sleep so much so you don't have to see them all the time haha.

Get teething toys and put them in the fridge, when you take it out let her suck it and the cool temperature will help numb the pain

My baby teeths on ''rusks''. that's what they're called here in NZ. It's like a solid chew food that lasts hours. Eventually breaks down and is really comforting for teething babes xx

We used Boiron Camilia homeopathy for our baby’s teething (14 teeth came in at once!! Brutal) and it really worked. Doesn’t work for everyone and depends on the baby but we never had to give any medicine besides that
