Best of luck truly. God is good no matter what never forget this. I think, idk people are often confused as many people portray God and Jesus to be hateful? Like "Oh God flooded the world" or something like that. I could also argue so many other points in that regard as I've heard quite a few. Anyways I'll spare you from the long ramble.
@@Emboariskstop focusing on other people. It is not their time and not everyone is here to play the same role. Without them your faith wouldn't be where it is. They are here for a reason. It is not for us to judge them or be concerned for them. God brought them here and only God knows why. When you try to convert or convince someone to your beliefs you are going against the grain. Tell me thru experience if it has given you much success. You create more resistance in them thru these methods. You can't push someone thru the door and expect them to walk thru it on their own the next time. Yin and Yang. You intend to go good but do bad instead. You intend to do bad and instead do good. That's something to think about. God's law doesn't always make sense to the reasoning mind. Don't lean on your own faulty reasoning. The heart is deceptive. It doesn't want to see the reality it only wants what it wants. If not careful you could be creating a lot of karma for yourself. Best thing we can do is be the example. Eventually when they are ready to walk thru the doors themselves all you have to do is be there to welcome them in. This way they were never forced or manipulated or obligated to come in. It was by their own free will and are more likely to come back again. Most of the people who go around inviting people to their church make one feel bad about not having the time. They don't know what the person is dealing with in life. Making them feel bad about it is lacking compassion and understanding. If you're not giving them that first then you are draining life and not giving it. Give them life first by lending an ear. If you are a friend then be a friend and listen first. All it takes is a simple invite after you help them by giving them your time and an ear to listen. This gives them relief and then are likely to want to give something back in return in gratitude. For example maybe they will take you up on the invitation to church. It may not be the very week but at the least they will want to. That's a good start to build up from. It's good seed which will bear good fruits one day.

Do you truly think I force people into religion? Seems there's alot of misunderstanding on what I am, and how I do things. I understand people desire to be listened to. I listen. To think I don't, again is just a bunch of assumptions and misunderstanding. Not sure how or why you desired to think I don't. I listen to atheists videos outright because I am interested in their point of view. Do I believe what they do? No, but that's okay I know we won't have the same beliefs.

When I was younger, I was kicked out of my family, after a long year of being beaten up, I was forgotten by most of my family so I spent 7 years homeless. From ages 12-19 I was sleeping on the streets with another homeless kid just older than me (2 years older) and his brother. Now 10 years on I still listen to songs like this because it was God who got me out of there. Thank you Tobymac and thank you Lord

God is so good. When I was 8 (I am 11 now) I had no home and was always switching motels. Sometimes we would wait for hours outside for my mom's boyfriend to come. But one great day (the greatest day of my life) my dad came and visited for the first time in 5 years (he was in jail). He used to be homeless then gave his life to god. He started doing better and then met us. He taught us about God and how great he is. I believe, no I know, god gave my dad the chance to visit to save us. 3 years later we are doing good thanks to God. Just remember god can do anything and is amazing.
EDIT: Thank you all for the kind words :). In February God gave us a new house and it is amazing. We needed the space lol we are a big family. He blessed my dad with a good job in order for us to live a good life :). Remember god is good and if you trust and have patience and you will have a good life and eternal life in heaven with god. I am still amazed after almost two months that God has blessed us with everything and if you trust in him he can bless you too.

I was abused by my step family a lot when I was a kid. Always threatened to be kicked out, beat up, called names, told I was a waste of life and nobody wanted me... and they kicked me out one time for no reason. It hurt so bad. As an adult I still feel the pain from it even though Jesus has lightened my load - I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for Him. This song is so powerful to someone like me. Thank God for people like Toby!

Please speak to someone about this. My son was bullied by a group. He found another victim and one more. With the 3 of them as witnesses and each other keepers, the bullies stop. They were fortunate a school staff would look out for them too.

Where can I do the most good? Show me, Lord. Direct me. Guide me to the people YOU want me to serve. I used to give only to random causes, but since I have been on my faith journey my eyes are open to the people who need help the most. The homeless woman on the L-train in Chicago that I gave my breakfast to....the man on the street who looked so worn down so I stopped and talked with him. Thank you for the humanity that you have shown me in the last several years. I saw God's heart and eyes in this homeless man's eyes. Thank you for helping me plant "The Seeds" of Hope, Encouragement, Humanity, Compassion and Love. Thank You for removing the Blinders from my eyes and for showing me to act on the opportunities of humanity.

The Homeless often have profound stories to share. People should really stop and listen and not ignore the homeless people that we pass by everyday. We need to listen to their stories. We need to take a moment to buy them a meal and have a conversation with them. It has left me with a deeper connection and relationship with God. It leaves me feeling as if I were sitting and having a conversation with Jesus Christ himself. I do not give the homeless money. However, I DO buy them a meal inside a restaurant. I sit and talk with them and listen to them. After all, they are also Children of God and human beings! Recently, I sat down with an elderly, homeless man at a popular Chicago restaurant. God put it on my heart to buy him a meal and sit down with him and have a conversation. It was such a powerful experience. As I listened to his story, I could feel God's Presence. Every morning I ask God to show me "WHO" I can be a blessing to today. Show me, God, because it's not about me! To God be the Glory and Praise.
I hope that you see this. May I encourage you. this post of yours inspired me. I'm a young adult suffering from multiple conditions ranging from nearly constant pain to tremendous bouts of fatigue all the way to mental impairment. Believe it or not it all began with drug addiction which led to an accident which led to my body and mind pretty much giving out on me. Now It is all that I can do to keep going.. I do not know why the Lord still has me here, but the other day i felt his hand reaching out to me. I felt like he wanted me to share my testimony, and to encourage people, that even if they are in pain or discomfort, that He will give them strength. He certainly has given me strength. Only in Him was I able to come this far. It says in the bible, that those who hope in the Lord renew their strength. So I'm going to "speak life" to these old bones of mine and this broken body I have and pray for the Lord to heal me. and I'm going to have Hope. And I'm going to have faith that whatever He does, is going to be great! Haha the good news is that I've been sober for almost 3 years now and I have encouraged others to stay drug free. The Lord has already taken me so far from where I was. I can never thank Him enough. When the pain is so great that I cannot think, I call on Jesus to see me though. And he has every time. May the lord be with you and guide your steps. Have faith in the Word of God and reach out to Him. When you reach out to the Lord He is able to do amazing things. I have seen this. Jesus gave me a desire to voice publicly my testimony to further overcome the enemy in my life. It says in Rev 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." by the power of our testimony we overcome the enemy. And the Blood of Christ Jesus. So anyway thank you for reading. I am a new creation in Christ now and the shame of my past and the condemnation of my actions does not burden me for God has forgiven me, my sins and wiped me clean. When I was in 4th grade my teacher played this song and every Friday we had to say something nice about someone, it inspired all of us so much and every time we were done everybody was singing there hearts out now that amazing teacher who I love so much passed away in a car accident in February. So I had the idea to play speak life for everyone to hear! At first, I didn't think people would pay attention or make fun of me, but surprisingly people loved it!
