Once you’re in the rhythm for NKG normal Grimm gets kinda tricky

How close he gets to the boss without taking damage is insane, particularly absolute radiance. And also not taking damage while standing under ngk puffer attack blew my mind
That moment when you realize this only took 4 minutes longer than a run where the player had a mod that makes them invulnerable and kills all bosses in a single hit

You know, I ALWAYS notice this strange pattern whenever I see ANYONE take down the Sisters Of Battle. It always goes in a pattern, (from our perspective) the right Mantis Lord is always defeated first, then the one on the left and the last one, the middle one.
Maybe they have a shared hp bar, once you go past a certain threshold and it's preprogrammed so that the one you're currently attacking disappears and goes to the seat on the right? That's just my guess 😅
Lisa Leung each of the sisters is related to one of the thrones and they each have 500 health. It’s not predetermined, it’s just the order you defeat them

@@sambalsillie4301 no eyes is literally free soul. Just needs a bit of patience. Stand at the bottom platform, wait for it to get closer and get some hits and nail arts
In the normal playthrough marmu annoyed the fuck out of me but markoth was a cake walk because spell build abyss shriek that fucker
marmu was actually incredibly easy for me lol. all you had to do was bounce her, and if the came down slightly faster then shadow dash because she was gonna ricochet and hit you
No wonder the Godseekers call you God of Gods.

It takes practice, if you look closely at the technique he uses, it's actually quite genius. I even started using a few of them myself.

I just unlocked Absolute radiance and I watched this video to try and learn something... I cannot do that!!!
Lol - one of the best techniques to take away is that using the Descending Dark spell for invincibility frames is REALLY helpful. Kind of a speed tactic, but good for helping survive too. The other trick with the D Dark spell is you can use it to crash into the first phase spikes to cancel them! (it actually works)

A lot of people don't know that you can dash into the ground spikes and if your close enough then they'll go away and you wont take damage. same with descending dark but i prefer the shade cloak. Good luck man! its so hard...

Very good. I discovered a glitch that might help even more the speedrunners, I don't know if anybody else knows it.
If you press the inventory button before the boss scream, it'll cancel the knight's animation that stops him from moving, that means you can attack the boss during his scream animation (but some bosses don't take damage during the animation). I don't know the timing yet, the only times I got it right I was spamming a bit.
I think this was patched.

That NKG fight was insane! Has there always been that little spot where you can stand safely during the balloon attack?
Also, for P4, can't you just slash up and avoid using Steady Body?
That spot in nkg's fight only has a better chance of not getting hit, it's not 100% consistent
As for p4, steady body helps a ton on lost kin mainly, upslashing him is very difficult since his hitbox changes a lot, and he can also just walk into you
