@@Meritshine can you please make a video in which you solve syllogism questions where the options are a particular combination of conclusions and you have to select which combination is logically related. There are no videos on this right now and these questions can be very difficult as more than one option usually seems right. You can find such questions in CAT.
@@varunprasad914 CAT doesn't give syllogism questions these days, and when they appeared they were extremely simple. Where did you see such questions? Also, give us an example (mention the source as well).

Meritshine Thanks for your reply. I thought along the same lines earlier but have changed my opinion. Statement: Sachin is a male. Conclusion: Sachin may be a male. If you say Sachin is a male, I can never conclude that Sachin may be a female which is an incorrect conclusion. Here we have to choose between definite or possible so both are mutually exclusive event. Hence, for 100% sure thing we can't doubt.
Very well composed. I'm learning Reasoning for the first time. You might laugh that I'm learning it for the first time at the age of 31 but I need it now. Still, I would say that your video is good even for the first time learner but it's a little bit confusing as well.
Why confusing? Because I've seen 2-3 videos on UA-cam and they have took very simple examples and after that I started solving questions. Few were correct and most of them were wrong. But then I realized (after watching your video) that shapes can be drawn in different manner for a single statement. Thanks. I hope your next video will help me further.

I missed OICL AO, UIIC ASST by few marks, RBI Asst by 2 marks and IBPS Clerk by 4, I didn't attenpted any mock back then. I am not attending any classes. You may use any books; they are all similar. Treat them majorly as question banks. Also, use various web portals for practice, and buy a test series. That's a must to prepare. All the best!

sir i got a issue with one of the ques which i was solving in book which says STATEMENT-1-All gliders are parachutes. 2-no parac. is an airoplane. 3-all airopl. are helicopter. CONCLUSION- 1- NO Helicopter is a glider (which i think follows) 2- all parachutes being helicopter is a possibility ( according to me it can be a possibilty but ques disagree it) kindly reply
You are right, Conclusion 2 follows; it's a possibility. But with the same logic, Conclusion 1 does not follow. How can gliders and helicopters be necessarily disjoint when all parachutes can be helicopters...Think about it.

We will give you the logic. You will observe that all words are odd numbered words. The number represents the middle letter of each word. Also, note that they are not in order. Symbols used for vowels: ???? I am sure you will crack it now!

It could be US English vs British English terminology. Actually, same goes for 3.4 in which it is looking like Venn diagram is saying All A are B. Also, 3.1 and 3.3 are making perfect sense to me. so please explain. thanks
Don't get confused here, it is very simple, and has got nothing to do with US/UK English. It is the language of logic. "Some A are B" means some A are definitely B, and there's no information about the rest, which means All A may as well turn out to be B. Just that you do not have any information about that.
