My childhood is alive and well in this tune, I loved afterburner, they did well for the time this was made, I forgot how many stages were in afterburner

I agree, of all the games i had on the C64 Afterburner II is the ONLY one i remember due to the music and the sprites weren't that bad either

This is a nice version of After Burner but I still prefer Jeroen Tel's version of the track.

I, too, don't think this conversion is that bad. Yes, it's a very basic game, but so is the original, just with better graphics. :) The graphics here aren't great, and there's a strange Spectrum-like color clash, but the game is fast and playable.

Afterburner C64 had a very good version of the music, my fav part starts at around 3:30 :)

The only thing impressive about this game is the music. The rest belongs in the trashcan, so yes, complete garbage!!
