How To Do The Charleston | Top Rock Basics | Beginner Breaking Tutorial

Today we will be learning how to do a step called the Charleston which is a dance that was came out of the 1920s in Charleston, South Carolina. I would also take a look at incorporating 30's style too as the kicks have a bit more momentum to them. For more sources of inspiration, Al Minns and Leon James have a pretty great style. As far as modern dancers are who do the Charleston, Ksenia Parkhatskaya is legit mind blowing.
