LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this style! Used to wear mine similar to this in my 1960’s high school years. My fine hair didn’t get quite as full as yours & I had bangs, but this is such a classic, elegant look. Going back to this style at 70, almost full circle back to my favorite style. The other way I wore it was flipped under, side swiped bangs & a ribbon tie. 😊
Hi Sally and Chris. This video is so spot on, thank you! I needed an alternative to my usual ponytail or bun. It takes a learning curve but it's worth it. Please share some more! Nicki
I'm not a mum. I tried this and now it's my go to style. Didn't blow dry just back combed and pinned. I'm a yoga teacer and this stayed in for the whole class!!!! This is so much more stylish than a pony💜
Really nice. Thank you. For those who don't have time for a hairdryer, just backcomb, spray and go, I guess... The idea behind the video is good, and useful for those who, like me, just need to know what to do if we find we have 5 mins
What mother has time in the morning to mess around with a hairdryer when she has kids to get to school?? I didn't when mine were little it was just a ponytail and out the door!!
These are the Moms with money who can afford the house keeper. Add pets and a husband and she's the one making sure all people and pets are up and eating and out the door. Meanwhile she was the one who got less sleep because she was up later lunch prepping for all them. Then has to come home to clean and cook as well.
Her hair is already cut, coloured, atyled, she has makeup on,a perfect face, nice clothes and looks rested and fresh.Thia advice is for rich ladies doing nothing all day.Not for crazed working mums with kids who rush to everything starting 6.30 in the morning!
it is very pretty but my hair is coarse and so thick...I would have to use too many pins to hold it together and who knows how long it would actually hold... plus my hand coordination sucks, it would look like a total disaster in the back!
From hairdresser to hairdresser.... (and also mom of 2) YUUUP!! youre rockin it, great little how to clip!! I do this style on myself as well :) P.S.... my hair length is below the waistline ...
I've been trying to wear my hair similar to that. I can't stand the side pieces of hair hanging in my face so I wear light bangs. Thanks for showing how to get the bump in the back.👍
It's very light teasing and a light spray, you could even buy an organic spray. Not much trouble for a quick up do. Looking good takes a little effort and time that's worth Making Time for it.
That looks beautiful on you. When I do that style, I look like a hispanic flamenco dancer. Lol. I do a small bump, and I usually part along the side, before clipping. on the back.
That's not quick! If I try and roll my hair and hold it like that the brush ends up enmeshed in my hair and I've got to spend half an hour extricating it from my head. I end up looking like I was dragged through a bush backwards.
Must be nice, I have 3 kids 2 dogs 6 little birds and one has 6 eggs, have to clean cook and do everything around the house, and almost forgot I have a husband that most of the time acts like a bipolar. I don't work but I might start to look for one need money. Sometimes I just want to run away

Your easy updo videos are the best I’ve seen - and I’ve seen hundreds. Thank you!
Love this quick but elegant style. Thank you so much.
Thank you for posting a video on how to do it yourself! So many stylists show on a model and the angle is completely different! Nicely done!

Rebecca Fiveash that trick only works for thin fine hair.

Love it,,, thanks
Very impressed, but I cannot use the bobby pins to secure my hair. Could you explain more?
From hairdresser to hairdresser.... (and also mom of 2) YUUUP!! youre rockin it, great little how to clip!! I do this style on myself as well :) P.S.... my hair length is below the waistline ...
Very nice
Love the hair!
Beautiful 👌

Very 60's and cute, but all the teasing combined with hair spray has to be dealt with later, and that takes time, energy and damages hair.

I love this! I actually did it. Maybe a little messier than yours but it looks great☺️ Thanks for sharing

Honestly, I struggle with my very unruly hair all the time. This is so easy...I’m going to try it. Thanks🙋🏻
I don't understand how people get the front side pieces to go back and stay back?

Can u do some simple hair style for long long hair
My hair is curly. Every time I try these half updo styles I take it down disappointed. I just don't think I look good in them. I wish
it's simply fabulous! hugs, vanessa
Nice style, but I don't want to put all those chemicals in my hair. Too much spray and teasing just damages hair.
I love it, looks like very In style 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Adorable
Brilliant !
Look great

I love it but my hair is shorter
Nice look....Busy Moms.
Love and easy
Always Loooove this style but the laziness gets on the way. I have no kids, no cooking. Don’t judge me😂
Must be nice, I have 3 kids 2 dogs 6 little birds and one has 6 eggs, have to clean cook and do everything around the house, and almost forgot I have a husband that most of the time acts like a bipolar. I don't work but I might start to look for one need money. Sometimes I just want to run away
🤣
MY MESSY BIRDS 💜💖❤ amen! I work 50 hours a wk, have 2 kids, 1 tarantula, 1 cat, 1 dog and a husband. My hair is a ponytail every day
Love it,very beautiful lady!
This 'quick' hairdo you speak of... I don't even have the luxury of peeing on my own...
Lmfao😆👊❤
😂same can't b sat on phone either
Hahahaha very funny
😂
I remember...
Love this! I’m always trying these, but my hair is very straight and slippery. I guess more pins would help!
