I love that you just jump in to your tutorial. You don't talk about your hair, yourself OR give a lengthy explanation of what you are getting ready to do. You briefly talk and show step by step. Thank you! Great videos !!!
I love that, too. I don't need a long explanation of what you're going to do, I know what I'm here to see. "Just do better than I'm doing." Lol Good tutorial, thanks.
I grew up in a "style-less" home. My mother didn't know anything about makeup, hair, or clothing. 33 years later, I feel like I'm finally learning everything I should have known in high school. Thanks for helping me be a "girl".
I'm a 'mature' woman with long hair, so your hair tutorials are great for me, particularly the pony tails and updos. I appreciate that you don't drone on and on about unrelated stuff before you begin the tutorial. So many times, I find myself saying "just quit talking and get on with it." You immediately 'get on with it' and I thank you.
I am 51 years old and not good at doing things like this but I followed your tutorial for a gala event that I am going to tonight and it turned out great. Thank you for posting. Even us middle-aged ladies can do it! haha! Great video!
I have watched loads of videos on making the perfect ponytail tonight; a couple of them were helpful, but yours here is so perfectly succint yet informative (and personal too)! Others seem like they're trying too hard but you are simply a lovely gal looking to show somebody how to do their hair and I love it! Thank you for this great tutorial! xo!
I can honestly say, you are one of the few ladies I follow and try their hairstyles....You seem like a "real" person and not fake...thanks so much for all of your time doing these videos! :)
Just wanted to say that your hair tutorials, are by far, the best on UA-cam!! The camera angle, your instruction, and your product recommendations, all come together, to make the perfect, easy to follow tutorial, and that's a lot, coming from someone who is absolutely terrible at hair, so thank you!!
oh man, i'm so excited that i found your blog and these tutorials. my hair texture, length and cut is about exactly like yours so i'm thrilled to get some new ideas. thanks!
You're hair is like magic. It does exactly what you want. It's beautiful. I'm going to try some of these looks. They look so simple, but I know it's those simple things that are often the most difficult. I suppose it just takes lots of practice. Thanks.
Love this hair tutorial! My hair is about this length but my hair is fine/thin unfortunately doesn't hold a curl for very long hahaha!! Think I just might try this style for Easter it's just around the corner!!
Just came across your channel, it is great, straight down the line, no self promotion, which makes you instantly very likeable, your hair tutorials are very well explained and easy to follow, and always look beautiful, going to give this one a try today, hope it turns out as good as yours🥴 thank you👍
I love ALL of your tutorials, they are so detailed and you make the beautiful hair & make up styles look so easy to achieve! You do a super great job!!! :)
Hi Kate I really like your tutorials and always find them helpful. Can you please let me know which curling iron do you use which can give the big curls? Can you pls share your bobby pin technic slowly. Many thanks
I loved this look so great for our 100 degree weather here in Alabama. I went to a 4th of July BBQ and wore a kate style wow it was wonderful having it up and off my neck. Ohh I love your minty top in this video where is it from?
Absolutely lovely! You are so lovely. I haven't had luck doing the hair wrap around my pony. I have thick hair and maybe I'm grabbing to much to wrap around??
Love it! My hair is a naturally curly and a little on the tick side, but I blow dry it straight with a roll brush. Would I have to tease my hair to get this volume or are you teasing it and adding product to make it have more volume because your hair is thin? I liked how you let the front part of your hair just hang there but placed it there with the hair spray. I don't like to have my hair touching my face, so the long bangs that I have really get on my nerves and I'm constantly flipping my hair back behind my ear. How can I get it to stay in place without adding a whole lot of hair spray?
Great videos, thank you. What are the dimensions of your cricket comb? What exactly is it called? Amazon offers Pro 20, 25 and 30 combs. Which one is yours?
i'm so glad i found this Chanel my hair is stuck at shoulder length and these hairstyle actually work without me modifying the way it is done to get results i am please with
Wow! It's so simple and pretty! A great style to turn to when my curls have dropped after a few days. Thank you! But I've always wondered what the difference is between those "root boosters" and regular hair spray...any tips???
love all you do with your hair, but I have to say, I have majorly thick hair. It amazes me you can use those little thin ponytail holders. Looks great though. Any ideas for the thick hair?
Hi there. I've watched a lot of your hair videos recently, since I stumbled upon your blog not long ago, and my question for you is: how often do you wash your hair? I have long thick hair, so hair-do's with a lot of hairspray or products work well, but the problem lies in the washing. I can control my hair much easier (and it looks better) when I don't wash it all the time. But how do I deal with the product gunk when I want to change my style from day to day?
I LOVE how you said Glistening instead of Sweating at the end!! Cute! And I LOVE THAT!! I've been trying to do something similar to that style a bunch but couldn't get it!!! Thank You SO MUCH for doing a tutorial on how to do that!!! :D
Thanks for this tutorial, this is actually the first time doing my ponytail classy. My hair is long and I usually wear on top of my head and I’ve had several comments from people saying I look like Fraggle rock! I have to agree. Loll. Also the reason why I chose your video which was a very good choice is because you cut straight to the chase and I like that. Most of the videos lose me within the first few seconds if their talkative.
You talk about just adding hair extensions like it's an easy thing. Is there a certain brand, type you are referencing. A do it yourself temporary extension? Thanks.
This is great Kate. Thank you! I bought elastic clear bands from Sally's but after having them in my hair not even an hour, they break. Are the Goody brand bands stronger? I think you mentioned in another video Conair as well? Thanks so much, I love all of your videos and your blog too!
1.5m views... whew! Nice. This is a long-ago post, but if you ever see this, can you give some fake hair/ clip-in tricks for those ladies who might be losing their mohawk section due to hypo? Is there a faux fix that looks flawless? Price is not an issue. I'm not there quite yet... but, I def can't do a lot with the top anymore. If you need pics, I'll send... If you accept donations, PLEASE lead me to that link. I think you're awesome and you're real world + pro advice + everyday attitude is killing it for me. Thanks!
you hair is gorgeous! and you look stunning with wavy hair! thank you for uploading the hair styles' tutorials. now I dont know which one to choose for a party im attending !
Every single style you do is just gorgeous! I wish it was as effortless for me as it looks when you do it :) I started using the Aquage Uplifting Foam and wow...it works wonders! Just bought the Kenra 25 as well :) What can I say, I want "Kate hair"! Love your channel!
Very nice! Your hair doesn’t look like a big bee hive it looks like you just threw it in a ponytail with no muss no fuss. Very cool I’m going to try it tomorrow
I just watched 3 of your videos. You do terrific work!!! And what great explanations, really easy "how to". I'm a hairdresser always researching so most of what I see is easy to follow, but non hairdressers can easily follow along. Just wondering if you are in the business.
Instant love from the moment I saw your blog post! I have 2 weddings and a rehearsal dinner this weekend so I'm definitely trying this out! Thanks Kate!!
I was hoping you were going to say "and you're done!" right when you finished teasing. lol my hair is super thick, and when I try to do this kind of look I have a hard time getting an even tease, and also my hair is heavy and pulls the volume down from the crown. So I just need to go crazy with the teasing?
I love that you just jump in to your tutorial. You don't talk about your hair, yourself OR give a lengthy explanation of what you are getting ready to do. You briefly talk and show step by step. Thank you! Great videos !!!
Disagree. She talks incessantly. She acts like doing her hair is rocket science. She's annoying.
Agree right in to it
I love that, too. I don't need a long explanation of what you're going to do, I know what I'm here to see. "Just do better than I'm doing." Lol Good tutorial, thanks.

What I love about this blogger is she is so beautiful without being vain.

Very pretty. Love your videos because you show us how we can do it ourselves. Real time.

The ponytail looks beautiful.
I am always referring back to your hair videos Kate! I absolutely love how you style your hair. Thank you
After watching several videos, I absolutely loved yours. Not only do you have beautiful hair, but I loved how detailed you were. Thank you!!
I like it, because she is real, natural and doesn't talk nonsense. Thumbs up👍👍👍
I'm really enjoying your "half-up" tutorials, you're really good at explaining everything step by step.
oh man, i'm so excited that i found your blog and these tutorials. my hair texture, length and cut is about exactly like yours so i'm thrilled to get some new ideas. thanks!
as someone who just grew their hair out after years of having it short, this was a HUGE help
You are so pretty. Thank you and I hope the hairstyle would be helpful for me.
I loved these older videos so much! I’ve been a subscriber for many years☺️
You're hair is like magic.
Hot rollers will help. Leave them in as long as you can.
It looks nice. Very pretty. How would you do the pony tail on hair like mine that's cut into a lot of layers?
Just came across your channel, it is great, straight down the line, no self promotion, which makes you instantly very likeable, your hair tutorials are very well explained and easy to follow, and always look beautiful, going to give this one a try today, hope it turns out as good as yours🥴 thank you👍
Terrific, clear, not rushed, well explained and you are fun to watch😚

Hi Kate I really like your tutorials and always find them helpful. Can you please let me know which curling iron do you use which can give the big curls? Can you pls share your bobby pin technic slowly. Many thanks
This was very helpful! Thank you ❤
Wow, this is what a perfect volumized low ponytail
This is my favourite tutorial, so simple and beautiful done...you are sweet and cute ...thank you so much
I loved this look so great for our 100 degree weather here in Alabama. I went to a 4th of July BBQ and wore a kate style wow it was wonderful having it up and off my neck. Ohh I love your minty top in this video where is it from?
That is the prettiest style ever!

Love the step by step. Looks easy to do & elegant. Thank you
You are great. Easy to follow. Thank you so much 🙏👏👏❤️
Please list the products used below. I can't find this post on your blog.

I am a hair dresser and greatly appreciate your wonderful tutorials. They are very helpful
Alecia Walter
You are just the cutest thing! thanks for the quick tutorial
I was just wondering if this was regular hairspray, or something specific for volume. Does anyone know?
Btw wow Ma'am!
Great videos, thank you. What are the dimensions of your cricket comb? What exactly is it called? Amazon offers Pro 20, 25 and 30 combs. Which one is yours?
I love this but my question is how hard is it to get the teezing out wen ur done with the style?
Agreed I'm looking into the same similar style. I love yours.
I use rubber bands which are used to seal and secure the cellophane on the jars, they come in black colour.
You have a nice personality and the tute was cute!
You have beautiful hair!
what kind of comb is she using,,,,,, does anybody know,,, thank you
i'm so glad i found this Chanel my hair is stuck at shoulder length and these hairstyle actually work without me modifying the way it is done to get results i am please with
Wow! It's so simple and pretty! A great style to turn to when my curls have dropped after a few days. Thank you! But I've always wondered what the difference is between those "root boosters" and regular hair spray...any tips???
I have perma-part too! Good to see someone else with it.
i LOVE ur hair length!
love all you do with your hair, but I have to say, I have majorly thick hair. It amazes me you can use those little thin ponytail holders. Looks great though.
Any ideas for the thick hair?
Your hair tutorials are by far the best!!!. Can you resurrect these type of videos again???
lovely, your hair is truly beautiful. it's obvious you know what you're talking about!
Perma-part. Gosh, I love this girl. Thanks for giving this evil a name.

Love this pony style and I love your videos and blog! Thanks for sharing your expertise with us and showing us how to have "Kate" hair!
I LOVE how you said Glistening instead of Sweating at the end!! Cute! And I LOVE THAT!! I've been trying to do something similar to that style a bunch but couldn't get it!!! Thank You SO MUCH for doing a tutorial on how to do that!!! :D
Could any one please tell me what is that hair cut name?????
Thanks for this tutorial, this is actually the first time doing my ponytail classy. Does the Aquage Uplifting Foam help with the teasing? You get such a good tease, mine seems to just fall even with a dry shampoo on my roots!
this is a perfect tutorial... love the pony.... please do a hair style/ tutorial with hair extension?
Just watched this again -still love it, your hair looks great up! 😊
You talk about just adding hair extensions like it's an easy thing. Is there a certain brand, type you are referencing. A do it yourself temporary extension? Thanks.
even your ponytails are beautiful. thank you
This is great Kate. Thank you! I bought elastic clear bands from Sally's but after having them in my hair not even an hour, they break. Are the Goody brand bands stronger? I think you mentioned in another video Conair as well? Thanks so much, I love all of your videos and your blog too!
I love your top!
Your hair is beautiful!
Wonderful. I start a new job on Monday and this style is perfect and exactly what I was looking for on youtube.

Super cute, you have really pretty hair :)
how do you do that thing with bobbie pins to fluff up your ponytail. I don't see it in your video. I only saw the the other tip.
I love your hair and videos. So helpful!
love this ^.^
but my hair is to short to have it look nice curled .
can you make tutorials for short straight hair ?
Very nice! Your hair doesn’t look like a big bee hive it looks like you just threw it in a ponytail with no muss no fuss. Very cool I’m going to try it tomorrow
Gonna try this with 2 pony tails for a bigger pony! Thank you sooo much for making it so easy!
I just watched 3 of your videos. You do terrific work!!! And what great explanations, really easy "how to". I'm a hairdresser always researching so most of what I see is easy to follow, but non hairdressers can easily follow along. Just wondering if you are in the business.
am gonna try this. "you are very beautiful. and I jus loved the way you talk.. keep going. "
I love your videos, I have learned so much! You are adorable and make hair styling seem so much easier! Thank you!! ♥

I remember watching this as a kid..♥️
you're so adorable! I love your tutorials!

Will hairspray work instead of dry shampoo at the roots?
I was hoping you were going to say "and you're done!" right when you finished teasing. lol my hair is super thick, and when I try to do this kind of look I have a hard time getting an even tease, and also my hair is heavy and pulls the volume down from the crown.
