Just found your project, can't wait to watch the build! I have a 72 that I'm about to turn into a Baja. Was wondering what size tires are on yours and are there wheel spacers installed. Thanks
For the best penetrant, mix up a 50-50 batch of Acetone and Automatic Transmission fluid... it's dirt cheap to make and has been tested against the best stuff money can buy and was found superior to them.. Just keep a lid on it or the Acetone will evaporate...
Bosh voltage regulator. You have an alternator (regulator built in) so you don’t need the Voltage regulator. The previous owner may have had a generator and needed it. It’s likely by-passed.
Looks like a good project -- in pretty good shape to start with ----- Happy New Year to you ---- Rodney
nice. Baja bugs are so much fun.
Wow 2 beetles
10:00 is for your rear defogger for back glass
A lot of racers mounted the coil inside the car.. it kept it dry and out of the weather.. The coil lasted much longer....

Oh boy
The inside coil & componant may have something to do with the firing of the distributor... maybe extra voltage.
