Good video. We all know you don't always catch em. Good to see the good, bad and the ugly. I've been fishing the James for 20 plus years and in my opinion you did a lot of good things in your practice that would have worked on T day if applied to low water. Keep showing the reality of bass fishing

Great to see your video. I have not been watching or fishing for some time now. Maybe I'll get a chance this fall.

My home pond. I like fishing the river. Finding them is the tricky part.

Keep the faith and your day will very soon come. Great footage and stick to your game plan! JD, the respect and kindness you rendered the home owner on the James was simply OUTSTANDING! You can be assured you have gained a forever friend!

That bridge isn't going anywhere. I appreciate you wanting to be there to claim a spot, but I could never sit there 8 hours not getting bit. Ideally you'd like to have a couple other little deals nearby to check and bounce around and then you can always come back to the bridge.

@@gregc2621Not yet. Fished plenty of tournaments though. Don't see any reason why it would be different.

@@gregc2621you have a point you're trying to make or are we playing 20 questions here? If you sit for 8 hours on one spot and can't bring in a limit, that's a mistake. No guarantee you'll catch them another way, but you can't just sit there and die never getting a bite. I feel like that's not controversial regardless of how many tournaments you have won or not.

Fishing the club level out of a 25 year old Skeeter with no power poles and my only graph is 2D sonar on the bow. Got a win in the Chickahominy last year and second place on the Potomac this year. I don't claim to be a tidal expert, and don't even prefer it. I just think he could have given himself a better chance in this tournament. You either disagree with my assessment, or maybe you're just his buddy picking a fight. Either way, I haven't seen your signature series rods anywhere either, so maybe tone down that condescending BS and have a civil conversation like an adult.

Now all the replies are gone, so if there was a super hardcore comeback I guess UA-cam pulled it down. All I will say is I root for Jeffrey to do well. I just didn't agree with the approach to this particular event. We're all entitled to whatever opinions we have about the best way to catch em.
