If you can find a throw, lock, strike trap, etc in the 108 ; you can find it in Tui shou. Imagine choreographing wrestling slipped under hooks, body locks, over under drills, arm drags, etc into a form which takes about twenty minutes to complete when performed at a slower, methodical pace, and those kicks in the form make a lot more sense from the Tui shou range. One controls the limbs and ‘takes control’ of the opponents Dan tien, then kick to takedown, or throw etc. Great post! Tui shou in a remote Chinese village where throws to brick or other hard surfaces are the norm, really challenges the paradigm of what most people think or expect from this art.
@@JasonLayton sorry 😂I was commenting on a completely different post and it ended up on this one😅 Anyway, looks good…. I’ll have to watch it with the sound on later.
This is the best wrestling instruction channel on UA-cam by far. Practical for wrestling and mma
Appreciate your techniques the moves you teach help my game out a lot
Very cool stuff I’ll have to play around with this at jiujitsu.
My middle school wrestler and I, say thank you for sharing.

Welcome back Coach. Well deserved hiatus but always come back with the best content.
Once again jayson thank you for your contribution to the sport!
looks like a nice counter when they try to thigh pry out of the underhook. Grab the arm then.
This is a game changer!!
The under-hook entry looks interesting. Almost like boxing
This is alsp a common way to gdt a hammerlock submission
Would this concept of putting my legs back to put weight on my opponent work with a Russian tie too?
@@mreric5724 different positions. I prefer to stand straight up with a Russian.
What about a Russian fireman
Never mine I see you have a under hook. Not a over.
