@@Sitħeğůy The Solo mode is really good at improving your 1v1 skills and you can also play aggressive without worrying about your team lagging behind, I watch a lot of verhulst and imperialhal but any Pred and ALGS players are good to watch
how do i deal with alot of dead slides like in solos when i kill someone then pick up the swap of their body then i get shot and try to run but my character dead slides then i cant move and i get killed

For tip 33, you can press Y and then tap+hold Y again so that you switch to your other gun and then immediately holster it without the draw animation.
For the tip on reloading against a door, you can change a setting in gameplay to make it tap to interact hold to reload, which while it does make your reloads slightly slower I don't ever notice a difference with my gameplay as any time I need to reload ASAP it's because I've already emptied my mag and therefore triggered auto reload.

Im new into controller and used that setting for weeks. It felt way better than tap for reload but you will find out soon that its the worst outside mixtape coz you will start reviving mates instead of reloading when youre fighting behind knockdown shields which is a pain in the ass

building on the aim>movement aspect make sure you do both, the best movement on controller isn’t your typical wall bounce and superglide, it’s fatigue bounces and bhopping whilst hipfiring. and the better legends for this are octane (since his stim makes your hipfire more accurate whilst also improving strafe speed) and horizon for obvious reasons
i say octane for learning to do this in all your fights, once you’re good with it on octane then make the switch to bangalore, if you learn it in Horizon stay in horizon

I use control freeks and when the rubber wore down I superglued circles of sandpaper on them. Ultimate grip.

I would recommend changing your shooting button from the right trigger to right back button as it makes ur shooting faster and feels like a mouse. Always better (and cheaper )than a custom controller
right back button is slower than the right front button, for example in ps4 R1 is faster than R2 and especially with single fire guns R1 is a lot better

If u need to reload but are behind a door there's a thing u can do in your settings called hold x or ⬛️ button respectively

a better way to reload without opening doors is to switch your reload to hold instead of tap, way more useful in my opinion including when rezzing teammates

I've been wanting to check that one out, what do you think of it? Gamesir sent out 2 of their Kaleid controllers for me to try but I haven't used the g7 se yet

With the reloading by a door there is a setting that makes it hold to reload and tap to interact. The only issue ive found with it is when your near downed allys you will go to rez instead of reloading if they are too close.
True, I don't like using that setting myself because it feels slower but if it works for you that's great :)
Most I disagree with is the sniper thing I run the charge full with a legendary scope all the time and lemme tell it, it works wonders👌🏾

With your door reload tip, im pretty sure that you can turn around, reload, then face the door again. Dont count me on it, but ive done it a few times.
With first tip if u change ur jump button to the left stick it’s literally op u can use claw for the y and x and I keep my ping on a it’s really good

Guys look at Freddie from the mobile br Farlight 84, he's a buffed mirage and he's literally the game's meta. Maye Mirage doesn't get buffed bc he'd probably be an annoying meta

5:52 I found that the best sens for me on controller are 5-4 with linear response curve

hey man, i come from Titanfall competitive and i was trying apex out and im having a little harder time with things. example being i cant seem to trigger recoil smoothing majority of the time. im also wondering if using pc aim assist is better rather than the base console aim assist?

I would start learning claw, it's a learning curve but it is well worth it

It affects everything, it’s very weird - I set it all to default except for per optics
I see this like a week after steam fucked with dead zone settings.
They randomly increased deadzones so that you couldn’t micro-adjust, at range either nothing changes or jolts too far. To fix it I had to do some things that fucked up my aim. Like it’s linear, but it don’t feel linear, it accelerates. I had to change up my sense too and at close range with hip fire it’s impossible.
Steam fucked me up and god damn I suck now.
click on the settings icon for Apex Legends steam -> Controller -> Override for Apex Legends set to disable steam input
also in steam settings -> controller - > (need to have it plugged in) Calibration & Advanced Settings -> Set left and right joystick deadzone to 0

@@Bfisnice its unneccesary, thats why i say that. Its not difficult to learn but its horrible for your hands and doesn't give you any true advantage. You can just bind reload to L3 or R3 if u dont want to take your hand off.
There are no pro league finals qualifiers that play claw, most of them don't even do crazy movement. It works on low ranks sure but to a Diamond + It's just flashy

Still, i'm surprised you think changing finger placement outweighs practice. You have to practice regardless if your want to improve, playing claw or not.
Also, name 1 ALGS Pro that plays claw.
Then name the top 3 in the current ALGS teams and look at their controller players. No claw.
Claw is not better for you just a cheap alternative that is bad for your fingers.

Claw or playing normally, both have the same chance for damaging your hands. Which is why you do hand exercises if you play for hours.
But if you turn off the ALC, does it still affect the aim???

5:35. That is the quickest Armor swap I have ever seen. You playing as the flash? Also how do I practice this on the range? Too many items in the boxes in the rwnge
You can practice in the range by picking up a rampage or Car from the boxes as they are in the same position as shield cores during your matches (keep in mind the position will change slightly if they don’t have a backpack)

Depends on the range and the weapon, long range single fire weapons I use the left stick more to line up shots but close range I use both simultaneously

@@Esidi If i dont have turbo i still prefer flatline. Basically carry it in hopes of finding turbo which makes it S+ weapon. I think if they nerf it everyone will just start using flatline. I wish they buffed r99 at least a bit, its damage potential without purple mag is just not worth the recoil it currently has, i feel like i battle with that gun as much as with my opponent. Volt, car, alternator and even re45 feel much better for me 😒

I'm so glad it's getting nerfed. I'm switching back. A whole S21 alone makes my roller skill surpass my MnK skill that I trained from S13 to S20. Damage and KD wise.

They are default, I don’t use ALCs except for the per optics
clicking in the stick does not give you stick drift what controls the aim isnt connected to the button that gets pressed when you click in.

Best advice to controller players from an ex roller player is dont fight the aim assist let it work all u have to do i put in half the effort and easy 1 clips.Second advice is get on mnk learn movement its so much more fun than getting free kills with .4 AA
Wish aim assist was that op for me, 15k hours with a roller in shooters never have I ever had good aim, not even close to below average aim. You can't use mnk on console apex, I have under a week on mnk + never practiced aiming with one but my aim on mnk is infinitely better than it's ever been on controller
