The most 'secretive' aspect in the video would be ALC Bleed Per Optic Through, which I cover at 13:00. That said, there's plenty of information here that many people might not know or fully understand. I’ve cited some of the players I referenced in the description, but there are 25 others I analyzed as well. Interestingly, out of all of them, only 2 used this specific setting.

You just need to know how to use ALC's, then run an FoV of at least 110. I heard PC gets 120FoV. Is this true?

@@sirturdaloter141 Max FOV on PC is 110 normally but you can mess around with some files and get 120, but it's more of an exploiting way of doing it.
As for ALCs, yes! Ideally everyone learns how to use it, but aim and sensitivity only make up so much of your gameplay of course.

Correction : The server is too slow for the machines running the game, and way too slow to facilitate the movement system. (Titanfall ran on 60hz, but apex runs on 20).
honestly it's probably more of a server issue + sensitivity issue if you can't track someone moving "too fast".
      A. the server is only reading inputs at 20hz. The Desync between players is so terrible that alot of what you see on your screen isn't sync'd up with the Enemy POV.
      B. If your sense is too low you will be reliant on AA, if your sense is too high you will have virtually no AA.
Trying using the ALC Per Optic menu to more carefully dial in ur ADS speeds (ALC per optic leaks into main sense when ALC's are off still), and you could spend 100s of hours optimizing your ALC menu, or you could just use the default layering it's your choice. But the difference isn't even PC vs Console controller input, it's the amount of depth you put into fine tuning settings in combination with learning how to play these horrible servers.
(Swing fast and shoot before you see a target, if they are there they will be late to react.
If you need to take cover, you have to do it EARLY.
      Ever died behind a door?
Ever died when you're fully tucked behind cover?
Because of 20hz servers. The enemy had you still on their screen even though your POV showed the door fully closed).

I use all alc settings. I have messed with every combination of settings trying to gain a advantage. I feel like the best thing to do is balance your hip fire accuracy and ads to find out response curve. It should have separate curves for ads and hip fire but they dont. Currently I have lowered my ads settings in alc highest is 1 and lowest is .5 for my 1 times and raised speed up to 450 and pitch at 330. How do you tackle recoil on mid/longer range fights I can at most do a bit of chip damage?

So all pros use some for of claw? Interesting. I’ve been doing 4-3 linear no dead zone for a year and it’s super inconsistent for me. I also don’t understand how pros can hold their aim steady when they have drift. All of my controllers right analog sticks jump around when I try to stay steady

    • @RealPsykho
      @RealPsykho  Місяць тому +1

For the most part. Custom layouts and paddles in combination help some of them avoid it essentially. Linear with no deadzone will always have drift no matter the controller pretty much. Getting used to it takes a lot of practice, but that's why you'll always see pros in the range or in R5 practicing. Warm-ups and pure practice of weapons has helped them become proficient as aimers.
I have a new video coming out Saturday (hopefully) where I give R5 and range drills to practice and discuss certain aiming concepts. Look out for that

What are your thoughts on overclocking controllers? I read recently (on the CompetivieApex Subreddit) that ALGS rules allow overclocked controllers now. Is this true? What polling rate would you recommend?
I've personally felt a huge difference in input delay between a stock Xbox Elite 2 controller (hard capped at 125hz polling rate) and the Razer Wolverin v3 TE (overclockable to 1,000hz polling rate).
I just DIY assembled a Dual Sense with 4 back buttons and mechanical hair triggers and read that those can be overclocked to 8,000hz polling rate, but I'm not sure if that's worth pursuing using 3rd party applications.
Any thoughts on this topic would be appreciated. Thank you so much for providing such enriching content to the Apex community! I've been a big fan of you ever since I saw you rocking that green suit at one LAN.

I think it's fine to overclock controllers. Overall when we buy equipment, the point is that we buy the best stuff to give us an edge. In terms of ALGS rules there's nothing saying it's restricted but it's a grey area because of that to my knowledge.
In terms of 3rd party applications of any kind, if you don't plan to go pro or play in tournaments- go for it! Otherwise I wouldn't advice it because you won't be able to use it.

@@RealPsykho there is also another issue with the response curve default settings where when you use classic and then go to linear, linear will then have some classic response curve properties and its the same with the other response curves too like steady and fine aim and the others will effect your linear settings after you used the previous repsone curves. Also, when you first get into the game and don't open the settings menu it feels like you have more aim assist but once you open the settings menu it feels like aim assist lessens. To test this you can just go to the firing range and spam open and close the settings menu and you'll definitely feel your sens start to become more weird even though you haven't changed any settings and just open and closed your settings tab.
