Here's another one in the Blues Bass Solo Series.
This one is a little faster and more advanced.
But you will get a lot of mileage out of learning this one.
It is played over a 12 bar Blues in C7, mostly for ease of reading the notes (no sharps & flats).
This solo uses mostly the Chord Tones of C7, F7 G7 chords.
and a few minor3rd as Blue notes, which slide into the major thirds.
The Chord Tones of a 7th Chord are:
The Tonic - major 3rd - 5th - 7th
The 12 bar Blues in C7 uses the following chords:
C7, F7, and G7 (Follow along with the Tab/Chart for the changes)
Remember that you can always slow down the video with YT video player settings to learn/read the notes from the TAB and play along with the video.

All your videos are great. These solos are great to listen to and so fun to learn and play. I also love blues and the sound of the bass, I wish more blues artists put the bass in front like this.

Play Bass Lines I’m picking up lots of little runs that I could never get when I was younger! I guess it’s never too late to keep learning new stuff.
