- This has gotten bigger and better ever year its been out! This is the 3rd year and even though we started the day with rain, it still was a great show! Join us on this years one and only Midwest Fox Fest of 2020! A great mix of the infamous Ford Fox Body platform!

its cool but I didnt see ONE 1984-1986 Mustang SVO, I saw the Turbo coupe but no SVO.

@@cheeesefunnel I have to agree with you...when I started building my '91 Notchback Mustang I was going to do a 363ci motor but soon changed my mind and now it sports a Windsor 427 with a Procharger F1A-94...Talk about some serious HORSEPOWER 1×××...All Day

Had a chance to buy a 80s body white with red stripes gt350 mustang as my first car for $1900. I grew up a chevy kid an had built many cars with dad before he passed. So I felt I needed someone who knew about mustangs to go look at the car with me. So a friend of my brother in law went with me. I liked the car but wasn't crazy about the 4 square head lights I preferred the European front end with single head lights but was still going to buy the car. However he talked me out of it an sold me his Monte Carlo instead. A week later he drove up in the mustang while I was pulling the engine out of the Monte Carlo that had slung a rod on my drive home. I wish I had known what that fox was an what it was worth. But to me it was just a 10 year old mustang.(perspective) lol

I have an 87 lx 5sp t-top car. I have not seen one like that on the road in over 20 years.
The noch is my favorite body style of any mustang. An I hated them when I was younger. The way we change as we grow.
It's it weird the things you like now over when you were younger?! I guess looks change as you become wiser!

I regret that I was not able to get my car there. So depressing. Looks like a great time. Stephen missed LTD and a few Lincoln Continentals in addition to the LSC. And actually 1978 was first year for Fairmont, 1979 first year for Fox body mustang

They should have had best hatchback class. I like that Grey two toned GT, looks like the one from The Departed movie. That guys notch with 240k miles was nice too. He clearly got 1 of the good ones, although I saw cobra engine so he blew up the 1st Obvi
You saw a cobra intake, no such thing as a cobra engine back in the fox days.

You just cant deny the package that the ls deliver, smaller size, bigger horsepower, plug and play, huge aftermarket support and reliability. With Ford engine bays the coyote just too big and the hp gain is great compared to pushrod 302 but nothing near a ls.
@@mefadon459 When you involve the aftermarket there is no advantage to using an LS, period. Use the same cubes, air flow, and compression the SBF will make the exact same HP as the LS family. No other way to put. Not worth the hassle of a swap. The only advantage is stock versus stock. Swap a coyote and you gain 2 extra valves and that is a definite plus.
@@TheSlim93gt can you put a coyote in a first gen second gen mustang or cougar without chopping it. I love 3rd gen coyote you can't deny the power 460 hp, but the ls is just a better reliable package. If you look at most coyote upgraded modded engines on yt they don't last. They just a bulky engine. I do agree with the extra valves. Once you take them out of stock form they don't stay reliable. A stock one you can't beat maybe a dodge 392.
