Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

I just got back from Stuart yesterday and caught my first ever Snook and Jack. I hired a local guide who took me out on the river. We even went out to the ocean for some Spanish Macks, AND got to see another boat catch a 14 foot sawfish that was safely released. 4 hours on the boat and I caught over 20 fish and 7 different species! Your fishery is incredible.

I used a similar z-man swim bait down in Florida and it was the only lure that caught fish! Fish caught on that lure: trout (×2) and a good snook

Great video. I am curious on what the average water temperature is down there from December to March? Being North of the border, we are dealing with iced up lakes and I tend to hibernate as ice fishing is not my bag. I envy you fishing down in Florida but so enjoy watching your channel. I know you spend a great deal of time on the water and that makes a difference in determining trends and finding new locations. But damn you catch a lot of fish when your out. What's ur honest opinion on the Daiwa reels? The drag sounded real jerky. Not very smooth. My buddy was using the BG last year and broke 2 of them
