Thanks 2018 NISSAN TITAN. I ended up removing the five screws that hold the glove box in to put the pivot pins back in. The whole glove box pulls out. Removing the screws and pulling the whole glove box out is a much easier way to change the filter.

So, my suggestion is to leave the pins in place, look at the three screws that run at the very top of the glove box door and the two the run across the bottom. take those Five screws out and the entire assembly comes out. Its far easier than trying to get to those three pins especially the center one. Try it and hit me back

Thanks. The pins on my 21 Pro-4x were not accessible from below like in the video. This worked great and I didn't have to deal with that PITA cable.

Easier way to do this is to remove the 5 screws that hold the glove box assy to the dash. You do not have to fight the pins, nor the retainer cable. Just did mine in less than 5 minutes.

Hey 4K guy, this doesn't apply to the Platinum Reserve addition. There's five screws, three across the top and two at the very bottom of the trim. The entire glove box will drop out. From there it's all the same. This was on my 2020 Titan Reserve. Thanks for your help

I believe the screws are on all trim models, but they are not required to be removed. It's certainly not wrong, however, to remove a little more than is necessary if you find it easier

Absolutely no access to one pin.

Edit to original comment. For at least 2023 there is an airbag underneath the glove box blocking all of this. For a 2023 there are 5 Phillips screws. 3 inside glove box along the top. Then 2 on the outside in the bottom corners. Remove those and entire glove box assembly comes out. No need to remove those hing pins. Easier. No standing on your head to find those hinge pins. They stay installed

Guys the best way is to removed only the left and middle pin, leave the last one on the right in, it will come out easy .

My 2019 gas engine was a pain for a while. The filter has to be compressed to get it in.

I really like the part where it just cuts to him putting it in

5 screws and the whole glove box comes out and it takes 5 minutes.

The arrows on the air filter, are they pointing up or down?

With airflow, should point towards the firewall

Easiest method. Messing with the trunk pins is a pain.

Air flow is down. It's a pollen/fresh air filter. He put his filter in the wrong direction.
