Oh wow this tree will be a world beater. Wish it was in my collection. Can’t wait to see it with a clean up and a bit of lime sulphur. I love it when people don’t know what they have and sell it then an artist can see the tree inside and turn it into something great!
When I look at this tree, I imagine removing the blunt-cut stump in the front at a sharp angle to blend with the trunk, leaving the back portion to develop into a literati. Interesting that we each see our trees in such different ways.
I absolutely love literati style of bonsai I find them to be fascinating I actually like taller bonsai trees in general compared to the very short compact ones
Right now, I don't have any plans to sell the pots alone, but if that's something you are interested in, I can let my team know! My bonsai will be available for sale in mid-2024 and every bonsai will come in a custom Bonsai Heirloom pot.
What are these auctions you continually seem to find stuff at? I don’t think we have them here is Australia - actually i’m as good as certain we don’t outside of occasional nursery sales - but am interested as to whether they’re ‘estate’ type sales, or what?
Sorry mate, I'm not familiar with the situation in Australia. Most bonsai clubs in America would have sales from time to time…and some bonsai museums would have annual auctions. Search the web and call your local bonsai club to find out!

That's the beauty of bonsai! You are the artist and you can craft the tree into anything you envision!
